Hmm....yeah.....each alchemist specials in different things, I doubt anyone else can make Armstrong's attack in the trailer. XD
Maybe Al did learn a lot from Izumi......anyway, Ed will most certainly surprass Al if he wasn't stuck in the real world for 2 years without alchemy.
GO GO ARMSTRONG'S SUPER ATTACK!!XD

For a series like this:
sad endings>happy ones
Defade
Sorry KeyLar, but I don't really get what you're trying to say. Do you mean that the series ends sadly but the final ending would be happy?
Someone from livejournal posted new scans:

Really got to give a big thank to Raijin happy.gif
Those scans are amazing!!!
I wish I can read Japanese ph34r.gif
I think KevLar means= the chance of having a sad ending is bigger than that of a happy ending for a series like FMA.
And POTOPHREAK...........um..........I want to ask...........um..........can you lend me that game novel, please?!!!!!!!!!! I'll return it to you very very quickly. Please!!! I really want to read it!!!!!!!

I'm a bit new to the fandom still. So, could someone let me know if this movie is the last FMA anime that there will be? You all are talking about the ending of the movie as if it's the ending of the whole story. I mean, couldn't they make a sequel, another movie, another TV series?

In that case (that there will be more story to come after the movie), it would be better if there was still some type of conflict to drive the story. If everything is resolved peacefully at the end of the film, then the story is basically over. Ed and Al need some kind of pain to drive their story. Really, from a dramatic standpoint, what good are Ed and Al if they are comfortable and happy?

Now, I have real affection for these guys. I do. I get a big smile just thinking about them. If they were real people that I knew, then I would want them to live happily ever after. But, as a fan of their story, I want to keep the story going as long as is reasonably possible. And, I'm sorry to say, that means the boys must suffer.

Peace,
Joe J.

Sorry, but I don't think FMA will have a sequel. The movie's gonna end everything, EVERYTHING. If there's a sequel, maybe people would be happy at one time, but after it goes on and on, people would get bored of it. Though it's possible BONES might make an OVA or two.
By the way, did you finish the whole series? Since you can get spoiled pretty easily here if you didn't.

Someone downloaded the movie's theme song LINK? It's posted in the LJ comm. I MUST GO TO THE MANGA FESTIVAL ON 1/8!! I just want to hear Kesenai Tsumi live so much! Though I hope JD comics would sell some Arakawa hiromu Artbook, I missed it last year.
I think I'll tag my friend to buy a PGB2 for me.XD
Did someone notice GERMAN in one of the Newtype scans? I was like 'OMG Why is there German in a Japanese magazine?'. And crawled through it with my crappy German skills. Though there's nothing new there. Too bad.

I'm assuming that the German was to get people in the Munich mood.

WTF-?
But I think there may be a big possibility that TVB knew about the movie, only they didn't want to spoil us with the time or something, and I think there's a high possibility TVB might change the schedule.
1.Ling, PHOTOPHREAK, you guys watched the last episode air on TV? And the programme called 奇幻潮 before FMA? Well, in 奇幻潮, they said that because of the schedule's changing, 奇幻潮 will be cancelled next week. But in FMA, they switched it to 10:55 to avoid the special programme next week instead of covering FMA too. I think that's a good sign. sleep.gif;;
2. They have nearly finished dubbing the whole series. Seriousely, they've already dubbed 11 CDs, and they only have 12 & 13 left to dub. I mean, why hurry? FMA only airs once per week, there's no need to hurry and dub all of it so fast.
I hope these are the signs of shedule change.
