That's kinda funny, because the oppisite happened to me. I used to be about 5'2", but now I am pretty tall(6'0" last time I measured).

I happen to be extremely tall for a 15-year-old girl, 5'10", which is, if I'm not mistaken, about 1.78 m.

It really sucks sometimes, especially when trying to find jeans that fit me well. Not to mention that in Elementary School, I was always taller than most of the boys in my grade.

I have a friend who actually sometimes goes on these forums that's 6"0 and just turned 13 She's just scared of what that means for prom...doesn't want to dance with a guy shorter than her apparently.

Well, the last time I went to the doctor(which was about a few weeks ago) they measured me and I was around 160cm.<-------that's about 5'3".

wow, that's pretty darn tall. i'm two inches shorter than you (and three years older...), but neither of us will really be able to wear nice heels. i had issues for prom, since my date was more or less the same height as me, so i had to find the lowest heels possible (and changed into flipflops later during the dance) and i had him poof up his hair and wear shoes with thicker heels. but eventually, most of the the boys will grow taller and some will pass you in height....unless they're asian....

With 5'38'' / 164cm I am the smallest in my family.

I stopped growing a few years ago so this won't change anymore...

(Yes, I am new here..) Im under five feet. I aint stating my age though. One time, at this pool, the sign said 4 feet. When we swam to that end, Either Im 3 feet tall or that water was 5-6 feet deep.

I'm 17 years old, and only 5'1". Talk about short--I can still fit into stuff I wore in middle school! ^^; So yes, I sympathize with rage over being the butt of short jokes.

Heh. I'm 17 and 5'5.5''. And I actually do wear stuff I wore back in middle school. I had this one dress that I wore for like three years. I don't know where it is anymore though.
