Here is another, post-engagement-dinner (well, he proposed before we went to dinner). They gave us champagne on the house, and since my fiancé was driving, I finished off his for him, so this is as close to that "pre-marital-bliss glow" as you can get.

That's his new nickname now, is it? Yes, I love the way he dresses, and he dresses really well . . . all the time. Sometimes makes me feel under-dressed.

He did, of course! Though, sometimes, the ring doesn't come off because I have fat knuckles. Well, not "fat". It's just bigger than the base of my finger, so the ring kind of slides around a bit. A size smaller or bigger wouldn't fit though.

I'm a bit disappointed that he's asian though.

I'm actually surprised that he's Asian. I think most of you know of my (former) bias against Asian guys. Of course, he's about as un-Asian as Asians come, since he's also taking English Literature. We just "get" each other.

I got everything at a little Middle-eastern shop on the Ave. The Ave (actually named University Way) is a long street that mostly caters to the university students with many, many shops of things and restaurants. The vendor was very helpful and actually gave me a discount.

And I would love more than anything to dance with you.

A bindi is a dot on the forhead; a tikka is that full out tiara-like ornament you're wearing. Tikka also means a soft cut of meat (as in tikka masala), but the pronounciation difference between the two is apparently not able to be romanized.

I had to raise the contrast on most of the pictures so we could be seen, since the room was dark and full of smoke (from a fog machine, not the kind of smoke that gives you the munchies) which made most of the pictures look like this. (My full costume!)


So, here's me, being Death and all, but not really looking in-character. (Death is supposed to be much happier.)

We are a happy dead family; Death, "The Mask of the Red Death" (Without mask, because he apparently lost it), and Dead Ballerina.

This game is like Duck, Duck, Goose; it's called "Death, Death, Banana!" (My favorite picture. Lucas and I were trying to take a Death meets Death picture together, when Lexi stuck the banana between my boobs, and I lol'd.) Inserting of various items into cleavage became one of the main pastimes.
