Mmn, soo, I actually did manage to finish my costume. Well, no, actually I didn't, but it was wearable, sort of. >D Just barely, with the 30-something safety pins thrown in to hold the bottom half together, mwahaha. Didn't quite get the photos I wanted, but I'll string along what randomness I do have from yesterday in a little broken-up narrative or sorts.

EKE's Halloween School Day...ish

Smobbed one of my guy friends first thing in the morning, he makes the most hilarious faces (and more faces when I randomly hug him for no reason).

Come second period study hall, one of my friends randomly throws an arm around my neck, so it looks like I'm throwing a tantrum (short-temperedness is part of the character, yay), except that I look too happy/surprised. XD; I also tried to make a rather lousy reference to one of the later Furuba chapters that like absolutely no one else on this forum is going to get...

No other pictures were taken until after school when Japan club was held...apparently my friends seem to think I look very sinister with this particular pose. *was trying to act "possessive" of all the guys she's friend with* I wasn't sure what to do with the other guy, so I'm kind of just standing there looking weird...

(Random tangent: Isn't my Japanese teacher absolutely adorable?)

One of my friends couldn't think of anything to dress up as this year and just bought a pre-made geisha costume at the last minute; she's holding the 'sweet' half and I have the 'tart' side, but it didn't show up very well, eh.

Somehow it's always the girls that end up proposing arm-wrestling matches first...*wasn't trying properly, and instead happens to be laughing her head off like the mercurial character she's trying to portray*

And here are a couple of group shots with the Japan club. Haha, we're such dorks. ♥; *is still pretending to be on the verge of attempting to strangle her female friend* Sadly, I think these are the closest things I have to full-body shots of my costume (not that I'm complaining, the bottom was like in complete tatters at this point XD). Meh, and the hair gel wore off after a couple hours but I forgot to reapply it...

So yay, that was a pretty fun day. *lugged around a printout of Akito to show people who've never heard of Fruits Basket* Hopeully that's enough insolent/unartistic camerawhoringness from EKE for you guys for a little while. Yes, my costume looks terrible, but I basically sewed the entire thing by hand from scratch (minus the coat thing), so err...*will hopefully get a chance to tear it apart and resew when she eventually gets a working sewing machine*
