I have watched one episode of Survivor...and I don't see what is the big deal about "reality" shows.

I don't understand the "reality" show hype either. I prefer sitcoms myself if I want a good laugh.

Some sitcoms make me laugh like Frasier and Seinfeld, but Friends has never made me laugh. And animated sitcoms like Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama and Dilbert are just great.

hmm, the only reality show i like is "amazing race." pairs of people are put in a country, and they have to make it to the goal, wherever it is. but to get there, they may have to get plane tickets, rent cars, etc while not letting the competition get ahead. they also have to complete activities that have to do with the country they're in, like breaking boards with their fists while in korea, and they have choices between activities sometimes and they choose the one they think they'll finish fastest. like delivering furniture in an african village or counting chickens at a chicken farm they have to find. it's interesting watching them try to get through language barriers and yeah, the last team gets eliminated. it's on its fourth or so season now. i should have watched the apprentice, though, cause i heard it was pretty good =P

I love Frasier! That's my favorite sitcom! And I like watching it for the brief glimpses I get of the Steinway grand piano. So beautiful . . .

Animated ones are great fun as well. I enjoy the Simpsons and Dilbert myself.

And I heard about "The Amazing Race", a few previews here and there. Seems cool, but it also looks like it causes lots of tension in relationships.
