Honestly? You can have the goose. They migrated through last month and there are now piles of goose effluvia visible above the grass like a little mountain range all along the scenic stream that runs through campus. XP

Hoop earrings are always trashy. Those particular ones aren't too bad since they're thin, but the thick ones look hideous. No matter how good a woman looks, I hesitate to approach her if she's wearing those.

I think the way it was said, depending on how sensitive or insensitive, matters more.

I think hoop earrings look nice when they're thin and moderately sized, and the really small ones with mini trinkets hanging off them can look pretty cute, but the really huge ones are scary...

I used to have pierced ears between grades 3 and 6, but not anymore, so I don't worry about that sort of issue...

Meh, I dislike hoop earrings of any kind. But hey, that's just me.

Sure it hurts, but from a kick you can recover. How do you put back together torn flesh? Piercing, creeps me out. I can't understand how hanging metal on your body is attractive. In martial arts, I just see it as a vulnerability.

my biggest hoop earrings aren't that big, about an inch in diameter and pretty thin. i think i wear those most often, though i've been forgetting to put on earrings for awhile and my holes are threatening to close. >__>;; i currently have a piercing in each ear and i want another in one of my ears, but my mom won't let me. bah.

yeah, it is. so in karate we're not allowed to go on the floor wearing jewelry, to avoid accidents when practicing with partners, sparring, etc. (i also have to take off my glasses in a fight, which is rather annoying, but better than shattered glass in an eye)

Yeah you definately have to take them off in a fight! I learned that the hard way when I was like 16. This girl ripped them out when we got into a fist fight. I don't think I ever hurt someone as bad as I did that girl. Well I learned my lesson after the night I spent in jail

The black and green stripes are face paint. I took this the day our fencing team had our first meet in the state tournament. The girls team didn't make it past the districts, but a bunch of us came along just to cheer, and all the girls put on face paint. )
