Ohh, you actually know about that series? I thought it might be somewhat appropriate, since it's adorable, comes with pretty easy Japanese and furigana, and has an official English version available for reference when translations fail...

Lucky people with all your manga... *rants and walks away* The only thing I could afford are those crappy shonen-jump dubbed manga.

Shounen Jump isn't that bad... The Kenshin manga rocks!

The Kenshin and Tenipuri manga translations are OK...Naruto and Yuu Yuu Hakusho, on the other hand, really just bother me... (Don't take it personally, ne? ;;)

Naruto is the most horribly dubbed manga I have ever read. "Evil eye"? COME ON! sorry, silly ranting.

I just happened to buy them as they came out in France. They happen to be at least 20/30% cheaper in France too.
I forgot that I also have 20 volumes of vagabond (same author as Slam dunk)

I really can''t buy as many anymore though
Plus, now that i live in the USA, there are so many manga series that I have never heard of and they are so expensive that I am worried about starting a series I don't like

Kenshin and YuYu hakusho are both great mangas Imo. I just reread the last volume of Yuyu and it still rocks. The manga itself was classic for quite a few vomumes, but the ending is very original and heartwarming.

yeah, i'm trying to scrap up the money for 3 and 5. T__T originally i was going to jointly own Tsubasa with my friend, but i think i'd much rather own the whole collection myself.


i took this picture a few months ago, but it's not my whole collection. all my Conan is in my car trunk, and i lent out some Tsubasa and Furuba to friends. i've also gotten the Naruto manga artbook and lot more figures since then. :3

If I were to start collecting manga now, I would have to buy the english ones since I wouldn't be able to understand the japanese verison at all. Though it would look purdyful. Ninja , Pikachu looks so cute, I envy you! You have the bleach volume which has Hitsugaya's picture I'm guessing? Look at all those Furuba volumes ._. <-- Is Jealous.

I really want to start collecting Death note, Prince of Tennis , Bleach and Furuba at the moment. :3

I have about 8 mangas now. 6 Shaman King. 1 Love Hina, and 1 Full Metal Alchemist. Since I have to wait till english versions come out. I'll be getting more like Naruto and Megatokyo this summer though!!
