I would be one of those few actually. The love between the Elric brothers is so strong (it's one of the key factors of the series) and them acting upon that love like "normal" lovers would... not caring about what others think, only knowing nothing would get in the way when it comes to their love for each other... That would be beautiful in my eyes.

I have to be honest and say it freaks me out sometimes too: because I think about myself and my brother (not the Elrics together -- they're cute )... we aren't that compatible with each other, I think.

Still half on topic(but mostly off): Actually when I first read a bit of the manga(ooh.. during my novice days a few years ago in Germany, when I first got to know about manga/anime) I felt a little spooked . I thought it was weird and at that time I wasn't even as open minded as now... but they had such a touching story and all... so I liked it anyway. I don't think they're half(but "full") brother and sister... but they live in different homes.. I don't know too much about it though... I never got so much into the story even though I saw the OVA *contemplates if she should start buying the manga and in which language*.
Hmm.. just thought about comparing it to EdxAl.... it kind of shows(in my opinion) that relationships within the family aren't always that disgusting... but Angel Sanctuary was completely freaky in other ways too
