If 4Kids did FMA then in the dubbed version it would show that Ed didn't lose his arm and leg and Al didn't lose anything. But they lost "something" of theirs and they'll paint over his auto-mail to make it look like a real arm and just say that Al is inside the armor. Either that or turning Basque Grand into a white guy as they did in One Piece.

Then we have what happend at Lab 5.Would Ed kill those peeps?Ofcourse not,he'd never even think of it.He'd give a boring speech about howhe thinks all killing was wrong.
Then the finale.About 3 minutes would survive.No one losses an eye or throws a baby in the air or gets impaled or has graphic sex.

About Mew Mew Power, they did make a dub, but only the first 6 episodes survived our american bastardization...

If you've ever seen it, you'd know why. I don't feel like this needs spoilers, so:

In episode 7, in the japanese version, there is a pianist that comes to the cafe, but she only speaks ENGLISH. Some language-bending hilarity ensues, goes on for maybe 5 minutes, but to make it work in english, they would have to make her japanese(lol), plus, most people wouldn't get the japanese/english only innuendos, there are a whole lot of scenes with her in them, and she usually has alot to say. Anyway, to 4Kids, japanese sounds too much like devil-speak in large amounts, so they won't allow it usually(except of course for Duel Masters' "cool" phrases).

Oh my God...If 4Kids had dubbed FMA, I would have probably ripped my eyes out and cried tears of blood while whipping out my weapons to express my supreme anger. In fact, I wouldn't bve here at all. I'd think FMA was some kind of stupid boy show like Yu-Gi-Oh! and such...I'd only hang around the manga...


But if 4Kids had done the dubbing, the voices, first of all, would sound like crap. I know they have horrible voice actors, but at least they wouldn't dare to change most of the names...*remembers MMP* But it would be completely butchered to nothing but pure stupidity.

I've watched yugioh dubbed in english, but it was like dubbed in singapore, and they maintained the japanese opening and ending songs, the cards aren't modified and it's still in english and it was uncut, which is so cool!
I wish people don't hate yugioh cuz of 4kids and how they modified it...

P.s. I've wtahced that dub thingy when I was still in the Philippines... They didn't show any yugioh episodes dubbed by 4kids... I've just watched yugioh dubbed by 4kids in Australia, which is where I live now...

If 4kids did FMA, Scar wouldn't blow up ppls heads, he'd hypnotise them to sleep for a little while. Of course, the blood would be erased. The word "bastard" would be changed to "jerk", and Riza wouldn't carry a gun.

Even though I'm not a big fan of FMA (and will probably hardly post here, someone from another forum linked me. And I see someone from a forum I go to here as well. Lawlz, stalk.), I found the song hilarious. Probably becuase 4Kids would really do it, too.

Name changes aren't that bad compared to changing character traits.
Look at Hughes,hegoe s on about his kid but thats just a little in joke to annoy Roy and have a bit of fun.If 4kids did FMA Hughes would be a an idiot and wouldn't have the same kind of wit.
4kids will happily slaughter the proper charcters.They couldn't do more harm if they just adlibed the whole dub.

-If 4kids did it all the names would change, even if the original name was Joe, they'd change it to Sam or something.
-no one would die, the characters would tell us that the person was locked away, had mysteriously disappeared, or had vanished to some other dimension. Definitely no shots of the guy in the 4th episode getting impaled, or Greed getting impaled, or something else which I can't talk about right now cause it'd be a spoiler.
-Rose would not have been assaulted, they'd change the story to she had a soldier boyfriend who dumped her OR she just adopted the baby cause he was an orphan.
-there'd be no blood, probably no shot of Ed's missing leg in the first, third and twenty-ninth? episodes. Probably no shot of his missing arm either.
-no bad language which I actually wouldn't care about seeing as how there's very little of that to begin with.
-the Psiren episode would probably be gone.
-the main ingredient of a philosopher's stone would NOT be human lives, it'd be something like hair from a naked goat, Ed would be upset cause he'd know how hard that would be to get. Oh wait, no naked goats...hmmm...something else then.
-Scar didn't kill anyone, he just knocked them unconscious and when they woke up they couldn't do alchemy anymore.
-Those several thousand soldiers in Ishbal didn't die to make the stone, they just got transported somewhere else and now it's going to take a long time for them to all get rounded back up again.
-Dante just wants the stone to make herself look young again, and she's not rotting in her technically-corpse-body, she's just got mange.
-each episode would go from 24 minutes to about 15 minutes cause they'd want to get all the commercials in there to get the kids to go beg mom and dad for stuff.
-we wouldn't see Ed desecrating mommy's grave, so they'd probably change the dialogue to the whole Sloth thing, Lust would probably have more clothing drawn in AND would have a name change (can't have the kiddies running around yelling Lust after all). The list of probable changes goes on and on.

Definitely don't want to see it on 4kids!!
