Keeping within the subject of FMA, whats ya'lls fav. doujinshi of FMA? I personally liked Jack no Yuutsu. Not a supporter of the pairing but the art and plot is enjoyable. You can get it at Dragonfly.

I skimmed through a couple of volumes of Gravitation...

For some reason the story really didn't grip my attention, so um...I went straight for the good parts

Basically the uke is a highschool guy who wants to make it big with his rock band. Of course he's much shorter than the very hot Seme character...his name eludes me at the moment. Anyway, he's quite a bit older and works in publishing. When they first meet, (it's a random encounter in a park) he tells the high school kid that his poetry is crap

I actually didn't think the rape scene was funny either.. I was pretty shocked actually.. Things like that shock me.. While watching the anime I didn't even know that Shuichi got raped.. (yeah I'm that dumb).. I thought he was just beaten up or something... I figured it out later though..

Hmm.. Shuichi, the main character and yes the uke, whose just finished high school and has plans for his band (I guess it's more a techno band though) which includes him and his best friend Hiro, gets really annoyed when the romance novelist, Yuki disses his song... and yeah... I wouldn't exactly call it vey romantic.. but things lead to other things and the manga is pretty much about Shuichi's band and his relationship with Yuki, who is really cold towards Shuichi, who in return completely loves him
I've read just up to vol 10 and I'm waiting to read the last two. The manga is really good. It's hilarious and entertaining... downright wierd and freaky even... although there are a few serious and angsty parts too.. a lot which involves Yuki's past.
It has many other interesting and *couch* unique characters too *waves Ryuichi banner*... all which are pretty likable (well.. I'm not much of a fan of Yuki and Tohma... but I adore/really like the rest).
Um.. the art is a little wierd at first.. Or it took me some time to get used to it.... It gets "better" later on... or well really different, especially Shuichi looks very different from before..
Um... Gravitation is almost a must read for any shonen-ai fan.. Or at least a much watch. The anime is really great too, although the manga is a lot deeper of course.

Suichi looks alot better in the later volumes of Gravi. I hated Tohma, but pretty much loved everyone else^^.

I really doubt it... The series was licensed quite some time ago. 10 English vols have already come out... Maybe you could check it out at a store.. I think I have/had vol 1 on my comp though. I could send it by email(if that's possible).. although I don't know if it will be there anymore when my comp comes back home...

Although, I found some random Gravitation "sound story" drama cd clips on the Internet, and I suppose the voice acting is done pretty well... (fortunately, it wasn't really focused on yaoi-ish relationships...)

It's my absolute favourite shoujo manga and has my absolute favourite pairing! *jumps up and down* .
I just absolutely love the art! The story line is awesome.. mostly it seems very dark and angsty, but can be humorous too.
The characters and character relationships are great and keep on developing as the plot goes on.. I have only read the first 5 volumes though and seen the anime series.. so that's what my information is based on .

Um... to make it short.... it's about shinigami, (mainly about Tsuzuki and Hisoka) who tackle wierd cases mainly involving individuals who should have passed on, but for some reason haven't... naturally they're faced with many problems, the main and mysterious villain of the series and gradually learn more about themselves eachother and to work together as partners....
Yeah.. it's not exactly shonen-ai.... The case at a boys' school kind of involves that though...
Yes, it's pretty heavily hinted in my opinion and well.. Muraki is perverted sicko . If you absolutely hate shonen-ai, then I guess I wouldn't recommend it, but if it doesn't bother you, you can easily enjoy the story.. *faves flag with "read it! read it!"*

Argh! I've been after vol 3 for ages! Apparently even vol 4 is out (I'm very interested in finding out if VIZ cut that one scene out). So unfair that it takes sooo long for stuff to arrive here.. *shakes fist in the air*
