Hmm.. I don't know if it's always just a matter of interpretation. In shonen series the relationships between the guys aren't exactly as in normal life . They are much deeper.. also if one of the guys would be swapped for a girl that would probably be considered canon. Really.
Shoujo is number two? Hmm... I don't know... because in shoujo series the hints can pretty much mean actually something.. since it's shoujo and all...

Hehehe. Well, it's one of the few manga where I really don't mind the main pairing. And most of the cast. Most shonen-ai manga I either don't like the seme or the uke from the main pairing. Or both as is the case with Gravitation.

Guess you're right, but I like to think those relationships between shonen-characters are possible! =D I was actually thinking about the mangaka of Yu-Gi-Oh! and what he said about his manga when I made that comment about shonen. It was all about friendship afterall and the power of that friendship that made anything possible. Trusting friends, trusting yourself, believing in friends and believing in yourself. The same goes for GW.

For the record, I'm a big fantasy reader, though I dislike the Harry Potter books as well, seeing as how I do think they are rather lacking of any greater though behind the story. An example would be the castle, Hogwarts. It has protective magics which cause all humans who get near to turn around and forget about it, yet why is it not recorded on any satellite photos, and if one mere man is sent out and returns with a memory loss, his superiors would surely send out more, and not just let it be, would they? Tax collectors, military personnel, et cetera.

Added: The end result would probably be that they classify it as a dangerous object and tries to attack it, if not by conventional means then by long distance weapons.

-Well the thing is, if a muggle comes across the property they actually just see a smoldering wreck of a place with a sign that says "keep out, dangerous" If they further tread upon the property, magic would force them back somehow. ("Remembering" important appointments is an example)

-As for satellite photos: If the muggle eye can't see the building when its right in front of them, then why would they be able to see a picture of it? (I'm sure a wizard could see hogwarts in that picture, but not a muggle)

I liked the part in the film when all the houses of the same year were in class together.

GW did slow down considerably during the middle of the series, but the pace picks up again once all 5 pilots meet up again. And believe me, since you're such a TrowaxQuatre fan, you'll be glad you stuck with this series until the end.

(and I want to pair Zoro with Tashigi anyway )

Trieze, less sensitive than Roy? Well, that's true, but only slightly. Once you get further into the series and know Trieze a bit better, you'll know what I mean.

I'll admit ZoroxLuffy has crossed my mind too... Not the other pairings you mentioned though. But like you said, I can't see it that way either. OP is one of those very few series where I don't support any pairings at all. ("few" meaning only 2 )

Boy Meets Boy: It's a short coming-out book. Sweet and simple but the writing style is sorta bleh, but it's good none-the-less. You can probably find it at any bookstore if ya want to check it out. ^^

I am such a major Yuki/Kyo and Kyo/Haru fan it's not funny. heh. Though, the few dark and angsty Yuki/Akito fanfictions I've read are pretty good. Strange, but interesting.

Yes, as much as it pains me to say it Une and Hawkeye are very much alike in my opinion. Wheras Treize and Roy only share their need to rid the world of all evil. ...... << Wait. Would that be considered a spoiler?

And about One Piece: since I've only seen the first few eps - RAW - I could very much make up potential pairings without knowing or comprehending what was being said at the time. ; So for me it was above average. My mind's in the gutter, 24/7. No surprise, right?

Has anyone read Yamada Toro from Sakura-Crisis? I just got around to it and even if it has nothing exceptionally different about the physical features of the characters, the story is funny.

Darn it.. Now I have to wait. How annoying. I wasn't planning on reading it all.. I just started with vol 1.. then continued... and.. *cries* I want to read more! I just loved it! I loved all the pairings in it! My favourite would be TakamiyaxIzumi . I guess it's alkso because it was the first pair that was introduced.. so I ended up liking it the most . But they vanished somewhere after vol 5... noo......
