Hmmm... but then there have been dreams that I'm actually the character.. like in one with Yuuri and Wolfram... I was Yuuri at first.. then I wasn't him all of a sudden... and then I was myself, but in his position. Like swapping places...
And then just sometimes throughout the whole dream. I'm not there.. or it's like I'm watching it on TV or something....

bleh, i can only stand some shounen-ai pairings....but i like a lot of shounen-ai pairings in prince of tennis momo/ryouma, kaidoh/momo, kaidoh/inui, ooishi/eiji, tezuka/fuji, tezuka/atobe, shishido/ootori, mizuki/yuuta.....prince of tennis is the only series where i can see a character paired up with multiple characters

Culture nowadays are being ignore in my world...

Prince of Tennis... Despite it being famous for its shonen-ai-ness I didn't particularly like it all that much. ;; Maybe I'll have to do a re-check.

I actually really like the show . Well... I would since I love sports, and anything to do with competitons (I'm a competitive person, allthough I hate competing, I love just the winning ). I also like the feeling it in the series and despite the fact that there is bound to be a lot of tennis matches (read:a lot of the same) it has actually kept quite a interesting plot and hasn't been repetitive. It's sometimes quite hilarous too I adore the characters already!
Time will tell if I get addicted or not

yeah, i loove sports anime where the players do all these impossible moves and since there are barely any female characters in the series, het pairings are few and far between. the only one i can think of at the moment is kamio/an...and i love how the guys interact, and even i can't deny the chemistry ;;

Yay for sports anime! I also just love those "moves". I have no idea if they're possible in real life

usually i'm all for het pairings, but sakuno bugs the HELL out of me. "ryouuuuma-kun!" "ryouma-kun!" "ryouuuma-kun!" that's about all she says. and ryouma gets along so much better with momo anyway.

Absolutely! I haven't seen very far, but from what I've seen Ryouma couldn't care less about Sakuno. I'm surprised that he knows that she even exists(okay with her constant whining it would be inevitable).
With Momo however...He seems to be closest to him. I'm looking forward to seeing that relationship progress

Ok. Hello all. If you couldn't tell, I like Shonen-ai/Yaoi. Im *cough* under age *cough* BUT WHO CARES? And I love Hiei....*sighs*

Oooo, how I got into Shonen-ai. Well, My best friend and I were nicknamed Goten and trunks, from the most overrated anime in the world, by the people in our school since we were WAY anime freaks. Whenever we saw something on the internet along the lines of "Goten and trunks Yaoi" we were like EEEEWWWW!!! But we seceretly liked it XD. So we got more into it, and now we are the Yaoi queens.

My favorite Yaoi/Shonen-ais are Gravitation, Eerie Queerie, Fake, Petshop of Horrors(I know its not really shonen-ai, but it is......very descretly)

I read most of the thread, just because it was all pretty funny. Yes, monster replies ARE intimidating, and very scary O.o*hides*

no, it's fine! there's no romance whatsoever, but you can take the interactions between the members of the teams as shounen-ai hints or just friendship. so you might not even see any shounen-ai pairings in there

Prince of Tennis? It sure spawned a lot of doujinshis over at Sakura-Crisis.net and Shi-Ran. I think the most popular pairings are TezukaxFuji, EijixOishii, FujixEchizen and TezukaxEchizen

As for the other series, I'm pretty sure that the works by CLAMP has some element of Shonen-Ai in it. They don't actually say it out of course but it's so obvious!!! X by Clamp for example.

Fruits Basket, Gundam Wing and Yami no Matsuei could be the most glaringly obvious of the bunch. Granted, you could take Gundam Wing either way since it has hints of het pairings also but their official posters and artbooks are enough to make yaoi fans scream in delight.

My boring history: I first delved into fanfiction when I was 13, introduced by a friend of mine. I discovered het first, naturally but quickly descended into the perversity of Yaoi/Shonen-Ai. I've never looked back since. There are some fandoms where I still prefer Het though they're very rare and I prefer Gen above yaoi or het.

She returned to the hospital to do a check-up, but the doctors assured her it was "perfectly normal" - nothing harmful. >.< It better not be or I'll have their hides for breakfast. Lucky for them Mom's perfectly fine again... well, as fine as she can be at the moment.

Jaganshi. Believe me... Digimon pairings freaked me out a little.. I was like "how can you pair those kids so pervertically?" Now I like the shonen-ai pairings( just shonen-ai, they're kids after all ) among them...Especially Kensuke and Taito! Although Taisuke is okay too..

Kihaku: Usually Wu-bear's paired with either Treize or Sally. However, besides the VERY popular pairings of 1x2 and 3x4, the rest of the pairings' pretty popular too. 1x3, 2x3, 4x5, 2x5, 1x5 etc... Just think of it as everyone paired with everyone else. Gundam Wing is one of the series where MPreg and Three and Moresomes are rampant.

From Yami no Matsuei you can pair the evil doctor with Hisoka or Tsuzuki...or Tatsumi/Tsuzuki...or Watari/Tatsumi...hmmm...

Gen are stories with no pairings.

with Yami no Matsuei: I'm sooo rooting for my favourite pairing from anything ,Tsuzuki/Hisoka(no order preferences..) Muraki is funny.. he brings a bit of drama and them even closer.. I hope...
It seems to me that Tsuzuki can be paired with almost every major or not so major male in the series (But he'd better end up with Hisoka in the end...)

@Kihaku: An example of a Gen fic (Gen = general) would be the Gundam Pilots in their mechas on a mission. The usual thing the main characters do without romance, humor, fluff or whatnot.

Wu-bear... I always call him Wu(f)fers. ^^;; Hmm, although I really sympathize with Wuffers and his lack of a love life, I like to see Treize and Zechs together. Major hint between them there.
