yeah, it actually really depends of the person. A few of my friends are like me too, but another is pretty touchy-feely and could probably do anything without feeling awkward(like kissing another girl without trouble), but then again it might also have to do with self-consciousness. My two friends and I are pretty self-conscious about ourselves and our bodies so... I guess it goes with that too..

Checked a bit about Pretear by the way, but I'm not going to spoil myself about it.
I realised that it reminds me a lot about my own story(yeah... dumb thing..) with fighters that present certain elements(in mine also character traits, bw). So I'm going to pair them up like I did with my own! (yes, before writing the story I made it clear who would be with who)
Wind and Sound, Light and Fire and Water and Earth(plant?) The seventh in mine was darkness, but he had a sad fate. Of course the series might prove me wrong while I watch it

The Yami no Matsuei manga is licensed--the first volume is out. It's not bad but Tsuzuki's name really really irritates me. (Tis not Tsuzuki, it's Asato, his first name.) I love that series, in particular the manga--been reading it since before the anime even came out. <3

I like to call him Tsuzuki, epecially because it's his surname. Asato... I always call him assato if I attempt to say his name the first time. >.< That's unforgivable!

Don't you find it amusing that, on the whole, girls like shonen-ai in the same sense that guys like yuri. (I'm speaking in a very general way.) Why is that? Cause the same guys who like yuri seem to be freaked out by shonen-ai, and I don't know too many girls who like yuri unless they're lesbians. I just find it odd.

Hah! I have that same thing with looking up information about a serieses that I'm interested in. In fact that's a way to judge how much I like a series If I'm spending my time on numerous pages... I know I'm addicted And I also spoil myself pretty often I realy, really don't do it on purpose. It just happens. people tend to say "you're always spoiling yourself" and I have to tell them (in vain) that it's an accident. While watching FMA's last ep I realised how "fun*, not spoiling myself can be. I was sooo excited(but that was FMA ) of course with nobody else having seen the ep either there wasn't much time for spoiling... SailorSev: hmm... I must say that I really like shonen-ai/yaoi, and really don't care much for shoujo ai/yuri, but I can't say much since I haven't encountered stuff like that. I used to feel really uncomfortable with seeing two girls kiss, (actually the same thing was with guys too) Now I don't really mind that much, but it's still not the same as watching two guys. Actually shonen-ai/yaoi taught me to not feel so freaky about shoujo ai/yuri... I might not really fancy it as a genre alone, but having it in an anime probably wouldn't bother me.
I suppose it's like Kase said. Girls and guys don't want to imagine theirselves in that position. With girls seeing two men"getting it on" gives them a chance to visualise experiences without the woman being in a lower position. Seeing two girls like that could be degrading for a girl... and probably guys don't like seeing other guys as the "weakier half"

And to the other thing... I consider myself quite religious... I suppose... Anyway, many things in the Bible are questionable to me. I certainly didn't like reading about how people would be punsihed and stuff like that. The person who made the rules kind of slew people for mistakes and favoured his own people, so I'm not going to take everything literally.. I really don't like the Old Testament anyway..makes me cry..
But I've always, always considered every true love to be acceptable, even when I was "homophobic". People talk about loving one another in the Bible and then forbid romantic love between those of the same gender? Pretty contradictory.. plus in my opnion certain relationships between men in the Bible were questionable

The bible is full of good things, but they are too often misunderstood. Like every religious 'law'. I don't consider myself to be religious, but i respect those who are. However, fundamentalism is always a bad thing. But that's not what it's about.

Sure am! Watari is my absolute favorite, he's so funny and eccentric (and cute o.o). Can't wait till they get to the later manga chapters, the anime was so different, it barely even touched on characters besides Tsizuki and Hisoka. Not that I'm a big Tatsumi fan but the manga gave a lot of focus to the other two.

Yes, it' a shame shoujo doesn't really click with me. All those lovely bishounen and so much potential. Have to work on that. Hehe, this reminds me of a shoujo-anime/manga called Mahou Tsukai Tai. (Magical shoujo anime~ ^.^) With my beloved Aburatsubo~ *__* He's THE bishounen of the school who all girls wanna date, but he's in love with the main male character who's in love with the female lead character. Shoujo usually has intricate love triangles like these, huh? Maybe I'm not too fond of those...?

About Mirage of Blaze, yes I've watched the first few fansubs. ;; The only ones I could get before it got licensed. Heh, ironically enough the VA of the main character is the same man who does Kenshin. ^.^ Not only do these two anime have a lot in common, concerning history and background, they share the same voice actors as well~
