You're right. I'd have to say that my favorite yaoi pairing would be between these two guys in my singing group. They're not gay, but they really like grabbing and pinching each other's um... chests? I do hope that comment doesn't get me in trouble. I never realized I really liked that sort of thing until I saw it with my own eyes. Every time they do that, I get this very odd feeling in the pit of my stomach. Really wierd. Please don't ban me for this post. It probably isn't very appropriate.

@Kihaku: my favorite shonen-ai manga would be either... FAKE or Sotsugyou M (although the latter's not shonen-ai, per se -__- (kinda like Saiyuki, you know it's there, but it never actually sees the light of day )). My favorite pairings would be RosexDee from FAKE and... oh boy. I forgot everybody's name in M. I'll get back on that.

The reason Fake's my favorite? Oof, start with the tough questions. The manga is hilarious, it's about homosexual cops, the interaction overall, the characters are all very... how do you say this? They're stereotypical but in a positive way. The main relationship between Ryo and Dee is very complex and the more you read, the more you'll find out about the main characters' backgrounds and you can see their relationship building -- in more ways than one. X3 .......also, the manga's pretty short compared to let's say Gravitation... but it isn't in any way a short-coming. Because it's shorter compared to other manga which deals with romance, the main characters won't be having this annoying habbit of dancing around the bush...? Wha...? Dancing around the bush... ugh.

Blah, it's complicated, but I love it! Just because.

Oh and I prefer RosexDee over DeexRyo because I like Rose better than Ryo. I know it won't ever work out in the actual manga, but I can deal with that in my fanfiction. X3 Buwa.

Oh and the reason why I find it hard to decide between my favourite shonen-ai/yaoi manga/anime is well... because I don't know very many and all of them are my favourites...
Anime: I've only seen Gravitation and the FAKE OVA.... so I guess my favourite there would be Gravitation. I just loved it right from the first episode. I already liked the opening theme (while I was thinking "this might turn out to be a good anime series")... then it just ended in a way that made me go "that's so cute" and I just absolutely had to see the rest... given two weeks I watched the whole series and OVA twice in a row! After each episode I was in a good mood. Don't know why it rose my spirits . I love the music too... and adore Ryuichi! *Ryuichi-fan girl mode coming up*... hmm I like the very addictive story, but it was a pity that it didn't get concluded exactly... Knowing about the manga...

Manga:
Oh... so much more difficult...I love Gravitation, Fake and Eeerie Queerie.. I just don't know...
Eeerie Queerie has a lovley story and characters, but it's kind of too short in my opinion...only 4 volumes.. I still completely love it though!
hard to decide between Gravitation and FAKE... In FAKE I love the relationship thing much more than in Gravitation.. whilst I do like the plot too, I still can't help but always wait for scenes between Dee and Ryo I just love them together! Oh and in that.. my favourite characters in FAKE happen to be the two main ones(and Bikky ) and in Gravitation side characters.. so I get to see more of them there.. In Gravitation I don't really like Yuki.. he's so mean! *growls* sure... bad past and all, but even Shuichi had to go through a lot of things...
But in Gravitation I like the plot better... it's just so weird and wacky Gives me chance to focus on other things too....

There was an article in the newspaper about a week ago that was about 'almost banned publicity' one of the images was a gay couple kissing (and just a little more) . One was dressed as a sailor. It seemes some people still have problems with that - I mean, hetero couples can be 'used' in publicity so why can't gays?

That just caught my eye.

And the fact that there's quite alot of yaoi- and- other doujinshi out there that's almost as good as the original manga. Talking about art of course

Gravitation... I liked the first and the last episode. That's basically it. These two episodes were my first experience with the fandom, but when I saw what was in-between... I started to like Taki more and more and disliked Shuuichi less and less. ;; Actually the other way around. It wasn't until I watched the entire series straight in a row and re-watched ep 13 where Taki was looking at the Zip Tokyo building. That's when I decided Taki was my favorite.

Bad choice once again >__> ... Uh, not bad in the way you might think. I really love Taki and really don't regret picking him as my favorite. It's just that so many resent him for what he did to Shuuichi... Bleh. I don't like talking about Gravitation exactly for that reason.

What? I never said I loved the ukes, I said my favorites would always be ukes unless I say otherwise! But yeah... Ryo's kinda... not on my favorite character list. ;; I dunno... Maybe because he's always good and everybody loves him. He's too perfect. Actually... it was because of a certain fanfiction author I disliked Ryo... It seemed like she was anti-Dee what with the crap she put him through every single time. >__> One particular fanfic of her was my first experience with this fandom: DeexRyo. Dee was always at fault when things started to get tough. He was always to blame when something happened to Ryo. -__- Bleh... And then when I finally got the manga it didn't even prove that author wrong! Dee gets blamed by everybody and Ryo's really Mr. Perfect.

I like the flashback moments though. Whenever Dee and Ryo do something, ending up with Dee leaving Ryo, the latter always gets a flashback 5 seconds after it happened. And then he'll analyse and finally realize what Dee meant to say. Dense, but it's cute.

Hmmm, and RosexDee... That pairing got quite intrigueing after I saw a couple of RosexDee fanarts from a Russian fanart site. *__* Absolutely beautiful art and very inspirational to my bunny buds. X3

And Yami no Matsuei isn't really shonen-ai. ;; The manga isn't at least. The anime was turned into a more-than-innuendo-shonen-ai-series because it only had 13 episodes to wrap things up. The only pairings really mentioned in the original manga are MurakixTsuzuki (but he only wants Tsuzuki's body really -- he even has a wife and kid!), Tatsumix/+Tsuzuki (it was all in the past though), The Count pining after Tsuzuki and.... MurakixHisoka. Hisoka and Tsuzuki aren't really a pairing. Unless the mangaka is going to do something about that later on in the manga. But we all know Hisoka's gonna be top if that's the case. X3 Buwa~

Sotsugyou M is about a boy's band in an all-male school. X3 Pretty bishounen ripe for the pairing! You've got a manga and a two-part OAV. The OAV's still avalaible on BitTorrent if you're interested. X3 The manga's about how the boys met and decided to start their band while the OAV's about the events after the manga. Well.. their almost-Graduation in any case. ;; (Sotsugyou M translates to Graduation M -- the M stands for Male. )

Kase: I'm sorry if I make you talk about Gravitation. I just love the series(anime and manga) and I don't know that many who know it. (My brother doesn't count. He hated it at first sight.. everyone looked "so gay" he said...wow, what insight )
Anyhow, you don't have to worry about me bashing Taki, as you probably know already. I like him, even though I don't think what he did to Shuichi was justified, but then again Yuki is much crazier(like what he did to Ma-chan...) and I don't like Tohma getting back at Ta-chan either (hasn't he suffered enough!), one of the reasons I don't really like him... I actually never tend to bash male characters(now females is a little different...) Stay away from fanfiction that contains that kind of bashing(if you know before hand) and tell those, who dare bash Ta-chan to be aware of my lightning staff
Hmm, but my favourites from Gravitation are Ryuichi (especially in the anime...*goes crazy*).. and well in the manga(including Ryuichi) I just love Tatsuha and K, because their urm eccentricness and craziness and I'm starting to add Rage too to my favourites.
Actually, even though Fake was the one that introduced me to the shonen-ai genre, Gravitation was the one that made me like it... and helped becoming a fan of it...before I really wasn't that open minded. I remember mentioning on another forum, that the only yaoi couple I would support is DeexRyo... now I suppose it's pretty much everything

Hmm-hm, fanfiction has got to be one of the greatest influence concerning a pairing/fave. -__- Really bad, but I can't help it. Hmmm, you know? I think it's got something to do with the color of a person's hair. All my favorite characters from shonen-ai series have dark hair. Dee (FAKE), Taki (Gravitation), Sakanou (Gravitation), Riki (Ai no Kusabi), Izumi (Zetsuai/BRONZE), Kokuyo (WISH --- this one doesn't really count -__-), Seishirou (X --- this one doesn't really count either...) etc. I have a thing for black haired gay guys. I guess you could put YnM together with the D.N.Angel series. Noth are shoujo with shoen-ai hints mixed into them. But then again, all shoujo series have every couple imaginable. And my absolute two favourites Ryuichi and Tatsuha, I like to pair with each other of course... the perfect logical YukiXShuichi, TatsuhaXRyuichi...I think that's hinted though... can't be sure. I hope it's canon anyway! (Like that would matter, but whatever! )

Oh yes, I'm also pretty stubborn with characters too. There are usually many I like, hardly ever(the only exceptions are all female anyway) that I hate, but then the one/ few that I just adore I wouldn't try to get rid of them actually. Why would you do that? Krad is sooo nice.

Though with D.N.Angel, it's the manga that's more shonen-ai. There's actually the "kissing scene" don't remebmer if it was in the anime. But I remember reading somewhere that someone liked the anime better because it wasn't that "hinted".

Yes, I know Sakano's pining after Touma but I don't like Touma. So I stuck him with the guy who snatched his job right from underneath his nose. I'm evil. But again it was fanfiction-influenced. *__* I love fanfiction and in this case, love it more than the fandom itself. (Because of the pairings that are not YukixShuichi ) Well, TatsuhaxRyuichi is strongly hinted at in the manga: at a party, Tatsuha gets Ryuichi drunk and takes him off Yuki's hands and drags him home or into another room or somewhere else that's not anywhere near the original panel. So, the mangaka left it all up to the reader's imagination. I know Ryuichi's one of her favorite characters, he and Tatsuha got a ot of remixes starring them, so... And not to mention they're the exact copy of the main pairing. (Yuk and Shuichi) So, I guess you could say they're canon. X3

Yes, yes Sakano deserves more love~ (and sex X3) He didn't even get a role in one of the remixes. T_T So unloved... Everybody else got plenty. >__> So that's why I'm a supporter of Sakano with K. I know K has enough love to give. X3 And this is one of the few pairings I consider anime-only. You see, as far as the viewers know he doesn't have a wife and kid in the anime. ;; You never see them, so... In the manga it's a whole different story. He even gets a whole side-story all to himself!

In my Fanfiction.net bio/profile I got DeexRyo/RyoxDee and RosexDee as my favorite pairings. And I think both pairings would work (RyoxDee and RosexDee), you've got a surprising number of RyoxDee fics. Unfortunately none of RosexDee, but I'm working on it.

Krad is very cuuute~ So I just kept him and threw him in with the rest of my bishounen harem. X3 Hehe, and I didn't count Krad because I didn't really like the fandom. So the same went for Seishirou from X. Didn't like X. But he's a dark-haired biseinen! *__* I lurv him so~ So very evil~ X3 And so very dark~ Buwahahaha~

I see YnM more mature too, but maybe that's because the main characters are well over 50 years old. And I have to agree, YnM basically centers around the "homo-erotic" hints/relationships between the characters. Especially past volume 3, I think. *__*

Pretear is a shoujo anime/manga with 7 magical bishounen and a girl who turns out to be the Pretear they've been searching for who's destined to fight the forces of Dark with the help of these 7 magical bishounen. -__- My summary's crap, so I'm going to give you a link to Pretear's official site: Wearable Bishounen

Oh, I haven't read the manga of Zetsuai/BRONZE, only seen the OAVs. >.< Now I'm dying to get my hands on the official Zetsuai music video. It's a futuristic world where the two main characters fight each other's feelings and... stuff. ;; I don't really know what it's about but it's got Izumi and Kouji in it. X3 And hints of bondage, so I'm all for it!

Hmmm...I don't think I have otherwise anything wrong with me(wincing thing). Actually it could be a lot with our culture too. I think most Finns aren't very touchy-feely... but there would be exceptions and all. Actually now I even hug my oponents after a race. I'm too tired and just happy that it's over to know any better Plus I guess it was the time when I started excepting being second/third etc. and that we're all friends no matter what.

Anyways... Actually Rage is a her . The boss of the American CD firm(jeez I don't how to put that right) who also falls in love with Shuichi . yup appears in the manga volume 8 and becomes a prominent character I wonder how that thing will develop(stiil haven't read all, so..)
yeah, I don't really like Tohma(or Touma whichever way?) either, but this is this thing again with wanting my favourites to be happy.
Oh Sakano hasn't got a role in the Remixes? You sure? Not even a side role? But that's just soooo mean! There's even TatsuhaxYuki in them(I think I read somewhere) and probably everything possible...but..

I'm just a kind of person, who doesn't really care that much for fanfiction because there's always "the real thing". That can be probably changed though Still, I doubt I'd ever prefer anything over "the real thing"

Actually one the reasons I wouldn't pair Sakano and K would be the wife and child thing(wait...I don't remember the child..whatever). The anime however actually had me thinking about it. It's funny, really K and Sakano *mental image*. I like it! but there is the wife... an I'm not ignoring that. Actually I don't know why the anime made him seem so "gay"... there was also that voice, kind of typical for American characters. You're sure they're gay, but then they actually have a wife *thinks Pegasus in Yu-gi-oh!*

Yay, I think Krad is cute too. I have this thing with blond guys. Liked them since my childhood(or well, not so early childhood ) But as you know... then sometimes I prefer the darks... Can't really decide between Krad and Dark on this one. Maybe, maybe Krad is cuter/hotter...

Yeah, the ages of the main characters set limits for the maturity. Couldn't imagine 14-year-olds in same situations (now, now, they're old in YnM, but they don't look it) But I think the themes are more mature too... and there's so much blood...
Oh, I'll be waiting for volume three then I'm not sure what part that is of the anime, but I've already with my really slow pace reached ep 10 (actually the only ep I'm missing is that damn 11(that won't load)

Put Pretear to download... It strikes me as a kind of "Fushigi Yuugi-type" with main girl having all the guys all over her...I'll check that page too later.

I actually don't really like reading scanlations on the things I love, but prefer to buy them, but I'll check that page out and see if I like it enough to consider buying it, thanks

I told the readers in my Author's Note that it wasn't meant to be offending. Those were Taki's thoughts and not mine. I don't know why they would wanna read something that involved Taki when they knew they hated him in the first place... >__> Ah well, that's already behind me. Happened a pretty long time ago.

I'll make an effort to show my face in the Gravi thread every once in a while. As long as I don't get bashed because of my love for Taki... Um, Sakano got a tiny part ine the TatsuhaxYukixTouma Remix. He was there with Touma and got to pour tea for his boss. O.O Whopper, that was it. That was his big role. So I didn't really count it as him having a role. ;; Um, I got them off the net, but I don't think I have 'em all either. And they're also not scanlated. ;; Just translated I think. (I don't even know how many remixes there are... 9?) I got send them to you via MSN sometime, I think. If you want that is. Just have to figure out how to zip them.

As for the Tatsuha/Ryuichi part.... o.o Uh, somewhere after Tatsuha made his first appearance I assume. ;; I forgot... I thought it was before Taki got his Ken-chan and Ma-kun look-alikes ready to do that thing to Shuichi, but I'm not sure... Oh, but they also have this adorable scene together where K orders Tatsuha to distract Ryuichi, so Tatsuha leads him to the zoo in an animal outfit. That was terribly cute (and so much innuendo X3)! *__* At least, I think that was what happened. Sorry, I'm not much help. It's all been so long. -__-;;

Thanks for showing so much enthusiasm over my work! =^.^= It really isn't much though. If you really wanna read good stuff about Ma-kun/Taki, I suggest reading this awesome fic by Eidoloin Tree (or something along those lines -__- *__* She's the best when it comes to Ma-kunxTaki, I swear!

I only have X the Movie and AMVs of the series, but that's already enough for me. I already know I'm not gonna like it enouhg to consider buying the series' DVDs or the manga. Seishirou will have a fun time being in my harem, but that's it. ^.^

Wow you've got every episode except for 11? And subtitled? O.o I never got 8, 10, 11 and 12 subtitled. As a matter of fact, we never got 8. ;; Couldn't ever find it. But I recommend reading the manga even if you have seen the entire anime. Seeing the anime only has 13 eps, they had to cut out a lot of good stuff from the manga. o.o Certain characters (Terazuma and Wakaba) never got a bigger part than 5 seconds worth of footage in the anime. Not to mention they cut out a mission which should've been animated instead... No wait, scrap that. Not instead, they should've just animated it all! T_T They've just cut so much...

Pretear is something like Fushigi Yuugi but I don't think all guys have a thing for her. ;; I think it's more along the lines of having respect for her and falling over each other to be able to protect her. Hayate has a thing for her though, but that's to be expected. He's the leader of the gang and themain character besides Himeno. And Sasame has a thing for someone else, but I can't say because that'll spoil you rotten! Kei and Goh are up for grabs, so that's why I put them together~ X3. And they've got too much innuendo with each other, they're just begging to get together! And the other three are way too young. They always have a threesome in fanfiction though...
