OH, I recently bought the first three volumes of Level C. I saw the OVA and realised that it continues from that.. so I pretty much had to buy the manga... It's mostly just smut, but the third volume actually seems to pick up some sort of plot and develop the relationship instead of depicting just horny sex.
Hmm.. Some time after Yellow I also bought Antique Backery.. It's not really shonen-ai/yaoi (at least yet)... but there is the main gay guy and it's pretty hilarious .
And yeah.. boysonboysonfilm.com is a good place to read reviews ) (although you prob. won't find on a few...)

Before I go on a massive rampage, I just wanted to say I 'found' a couple of anime/manga you guys might enjoy. Well, I did, and regardless of whether or not you might like it, I just want to pimp stuffs. XD I'm bad.

First up is I'll/CKBC/I'll [Generation Basket]. (Licensed by France and Italian companies)
Summary: Two boys, Tachibana and Hiiragi were once brutal rivals in the game of basketball. Hiiragi soon transfers into Tachibana's school and basketball team. They begin as team-mates, but with Hiiragi's family pushing him to play on a better team, Tachibana and Hiiragi must now play against each other. (There's a reason why there are only shonen-ai fanfic to be found on the Net)

Will have to check out those series.. *jots down*. I've discovered that I really adore sports in manga too (I don't understand hy I didn't think about it before). And slashy sports stuff (it's just slashy, or?) is always better. . Have to also find out more about it...
The other series seems interesting too .

I guess the reason why so many people (het and slash fans alike) are drawn to sports manga is because of the bonds characters form with each other. Because they always need to have team-spirit in order to accomplish their goals. At least, that is usually the case with me. I like my shonen-ai just as much as I like old-fashioned team-spirit. Groups of people/friends just have that certain charm that get's the best of me everytime. *__*

Same as with partner-series, like Licensed by Royal. The slash between L and R denotes the chemistry between Rowe and Jack. The way they compliment each other in everything. How can you not take a shine to that?

And sorry to say, I'll is just that: a slashable series, no conan pairings whatsoever. But slashable to the extreme. !__! My fave characters are Akane, Yamazaki, Yumefuji (?) and Saki, but honestly I don't think it's possible to hate or intensely dislike () any of the charas here. Another strong point why I adore this series.

Hah... exactly! I love that general team spirit and close friendship... and well fighting to win and be the best (or better than one is). I guess that's what draws me to shonen manga in general. It's just interesting that being a sports fan that I didn't really consider sport manga/anime until just recently. Heh.. I was probably too busy getting into other stuff... *shrugs*.
Oh.. slashy to the extreme is really good . If it's even nearly as slashy as Prince of Tennis I'll be happy... there's alwys the charm of imagining how the relationship is or could develop off the court.. *cough*.

Hmm.. I probably like the partnership even more than team spirit. There's always something beautiful about a close relationship between two individuals(that always can be seen as more...) and how it's shown when they go through various ordeals.

While one part of me is jumpping for joy at the prospect, another part's telling me, damn, another anime/manga I'll have to pay money to read/watch. DRAT!

Um, I'm not sure if the innuendo's higher or more obvious in I'll than Tenipuri, since I've never read further than the first chapter, but I can guarantee you won't be dsappointed. Friendship and comeraderie are a major factor in this manga.

Ooh, partnerships are more appealing? Then I suggest Licensed by Royal and Black Cat. *nod-nod* It's a shame to say, but partner-series are hard to come by. v_v

Yeah, I know its about a band ~ so I'm interested since I'm doing a manga about a band too. Well, only a prequel that could be thirty pages or so, if I even finish it. After that comes another story, one that's being told from 2 different points of view ~ until they meet.

Gah... Ive been downloading the chapters of I'll, but I'm awful at starting to read something on the comp. That's why I prefer licensed series. There's even an OVA of it, that I'll probably try to see first.. once my interest is sparked, (and I suppose it will:P, I love sports anyway) I can possibly get down to read the manga. I liked the little I saw though... the art seemed kind of pretty for a shonen manga Will be hoping for lots..
And yeah... I will be putting Black Cat and Licensed by Royal on my "to watch/check out list" (gosh that lists just expands....)

Kaikan Phrase... I have to admit that I haven't seen much of this, so maybe it's not the best to trust my opinion. Yeah it really does have a sort of Gravi feel to it.. without the Yuki/Shuichi thing... *sighs*. Well.. I suppose it could be a bit slashy, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high. Apparently all the main characters get female love interests at some point(?). Although after Atsuro moves in with Towa there is this cute scene between them but yah... From what I know the manga concentrates maninly on the main character, sakuya and his relationship with (the songwriter?) Aine... The other band members aren't in such a big role.. The anime shows how their band, Lucifer became famous and well.. after that... I don't think I will try the manga, but I will continue watching the anime.. It's interesting an dentertaining enough. My main problem is Sakuya, who really annoys me.. If I'll be seeing more of him in the manga version... then....
But if you like het smut, relationship drama, pretty boys and bands? I guess you could be interested.

Last yaoi I watched was Sensitive Pornograph... Two different stories in thirty minutes, you can guess what that gives... Not much story, all the more smut, but I like the drawingstyle. Still, I like the yaoi stuff with stories better, like Kizuna and Haru wo Daiteita (or however you should write it, it confuses me).

I loved all the smuttiness of Sensitive Pornogragh. Especially the 2nd story. I can't say I would have done the same thing in that situation

I just finished the Loveless anime and I'm confused as hell. I think I have to go back and read the manga again.

Of course I've read a ton of things since the last time I visited this thread. Kokoro Kikai is one of the ones that I liked best. It's about two guys who feel like they'd rather die than continue on living. That is until they find each other. I've read the first two chapters, if you need the link pm me.
Other than that, just read the latest Lost Boys, Dekou Sekka, and Love Hustler from Hochuuami.
