Yami no Matsuei: The only reason I watched this Anime was because of the underlying slash. Heh. Especially when you go into Hisoka's death. We all know Muraki has a thing for Tsuzuki.

Gluhen: I <3 gluhen just because the Weiss boys are just too damned slashable. Especially Omi because of his bishi-ness.

And I think it seemed well obvious... My friends who're reading the manga (one only up to vol 3 cause I haven't been able to get the rest) agree that it's obvious .

The White Shaman manga (you mean the White Shaman manga or Weiss Side B?) tells you the story of how Ran/Aya joined the gang and how it all came to be. The Weiss Side B manga is sort of a sequel to Gluhen, hence the fact Omi and Yoji are missing and the others have taken their place.

I bought all 11 volumes of Love Mode, I bought the first two volumes of Gouhou Drug, New York, New York, Midare ( very very smutty! ), Count Cain, Golden Cain and a horde of others I haven't even bothered to open yet! Anyways, how cute is Love Mode? I can't believe I waited this long to read this. It is just so cute and funny, but of course lots of drama and sadness! Golden Cain was the first yaoi I bought.. I was surprised how much I liked it considering it was pretty explicit and I wasn't that into such at that time.. but I read it a few times in a row.. Also it happens to be my most borrowed manga.
Count Cain/God Child is just shoujo (for what I've seen.. ( 8 volumes).. but the style and story are intriguing anyway.

I didn't read the manga of Sukisyo, but I found out where I can dl it, so I might read it later. I just need money to buy Gravitation and Tokyo Babylon now... (and I try to buy a 5.25 manga every week at the mangastore, Fushigi Yuugi, at the moment.)

Yeah, Enzai isn't good actually, and I'm not fond of the drawing style either. It's just too short and easy with alot of perviness. Level C (one ep), Kizuna (3 OAV's) and Haru wo Daiteita are alot better ^^

I didn't care much for Loveless at first - but I kept watching it, and now I'm actually enjoying it. (Even though Ritsuka's relationship with Soubi is cute, I'm wanting Ritsuka and Yuiko to hook up )

Question though, Gravitation and Sukisyo ended after 12-13 episodes. So will Loveless end around there as well?

As for Sukisyo, it was cute and fun at first but the ending was just...weird I guess. (Although Nao is a cutie!)

I have no idea how many eps Loveless will have.. I hope more than 12, or else it will have a rushed ending

About Loveless. I just recently finished watching it. Yay, it's a cute series.. and I don't even mind the yuri couple (wait.. they're the only actual couple in that series?). In fact I thought it was kind of beautiful. Maybe I've found even a yuri pairing that I like.
But... even thought the ending was satisfying, it seems that it continues.. So there's still the manga right? (I had thought that the manga wasn't ongoing...)
And Kaido.. of course I remember him. I just hadn't paid attention to his last name, since I think of him as Kyo . He's probably my favourite character in the series. I adore him. Oh, I wish I could pair Kyo with somebody. He needs that .

My first shounen-ai experience has been the Seifer/Squall pairing and I was only 8 years old! Actually I think I even paired up guys from anime before Final Fantasy 8! I didn't know yaoi existed then and thought I was anormal! Then I read about yaoi on a yugioh site (Then, my fav pairing was Yami/Yugi) and I went to Fanfiction.net and was happy to find full of yaoi fanfics! I can thank yaoi because it is the reason that makes me want to learn english!

I have to admit, I didn't read the entire thread because, frankly, it's pretty long; therefore, I have no idea what has been discussed and what hasn't, so forgive me if I repeat something.

Well, although you can't really tell, I am a big shounen-ai fan. Well, to be exact, I'm a fan of any couple that has a captivating story (which differs according to one's perspective), a solid relationship, and is plausible (although every now and then I also might like one pairing that isn't exactly implied, but most of the time those two characters probably have a strong relationship that, although has no romantic tones to it, shows there's certain closeness between the two), be it het, yaoi, or yuri.

The first shounen-ai couple that I fell in love with, and still love immensely to this day, was no other than Touya/Yukito from CCS. I haven't read the entire thread, like I said, but I don'’t believe there's many supporters of this couple here. Which, honestly, I can't understand, not only they are blatantly in love with each other in the series, but also their love, at least in my opinion, is so strong and beautiful. Their relationship was definitely what appealed to me the most about CCS, in fact, I'm planning on obtaining the DVD's just to watch their interaction all over again. Wish I could find the manga online.

Now, Fullmetal Alchemist - although my OTP is, and will always be, Roy/Riza, I am quite fond of the following: Roy/Havoc (especially after the fight with Lust, there's some much love and loyalty there), Roy/Hughes (before Gracia and Riza, of course), and, oh dear, I simply hate to admit it, but I really like Al/Ed. But is incest and *pulls hair* damn! I hate them for having such a strong relationship and being each others reason to live.

I also love Kurogane/Fai (Tsubasa), Haru/Yuki, Shigure/Ayame/Hatori (Fruits Basket), and several others that I can't recall right now. I'll probably edit to add more later.

I think it's time for you to rejoice because most members here adore this pairing (even some of the het fans think so). Unfortunately, I'm left out of the party, but I digress. It isn't that obvious because many of the fans who do have already stated their love and adoration in the Cardcaptor thread in the Anime section.

I always compared this couple with the widely known Yu/Shu from Gravitation because of their huge fanbases.


If you like Hughes/Roy, then I suggest you check out the link I posted some time ago. Just a few posts above this one, if I'm not mistaken. It's also got implied Roy/Ed and Riza/Roy - basicaly a doujin for everyone. Unfortunately, no Al/Ed.

How come I'm not able to find such thread? Was it deleted or something. I don't know, I wasn't able to find a LJ community dedicated to the pairing, so I assume they weren't as popular, which puzzled me because, hello, they exude love and they are as canon as they come.

And see, Gravitation is a perfect example of a very popular fandom that I can't get into at all. I've tried, numerous times, and it just doesn't catch my attention at all.

I like alot the Kaiba/Yami pairing too! I love the all rivality attraction (Envy/Ed lol! ) I remember when Kaiba said in the manga "I can feel my blood burn right now" when he was fighting Yami! But the Yami/Yugi pairing is too cute! It's like the Ed/Al pairing in some way! Yami wants to protect Yugi and Yugi always wants to stay with him! Light/Darkness love!

Oh, that's a shame! I'm probably one of the few people here who actually love FAKE, despite the - apparently - ugly style. I don't think it's all that different from other shonen-ai manga I've seen though (Saiyuki, Loveless).

But I do know a site that has most of the manga scanlated in... French? Spanish? - plus an individual site that hosts translations. I'll see if I can't find those sites for you, since it's at least something.


And here's the post with the link I mentioned! It isn't anything explicit though - the only thing that gives away the fact that it's shonen-ai is one panel showing Hughes lying on top of Roy with this gaze in his eyes. It could of course be mistaken for something else entirely.


And Seikimatsu Darling is another title I recommend! Fluffy more than anything, it centers around two guys who want to get it on, but the thing is they both want to seme over the other but... neither of them is taller than the other. And as shonen-ai manga rules dictate, the uke's always shorter than the seme.

I love that attitude! It's pretty much the same with me.. Although I don't seem to get into yuri pairings, even though I might find possibilities or think of them as cute. The main point for me is that I like the two together as a couple, and the rest is pretty irrelevant.


*raises hand* I love TouyaxYukito! I can't explain this enough.... I read all 12 volumes of the manga in a go... and was so happy that it turned out that way.. I was sure that it was just a hinted thing,but.. *happy squeal*. And after reading the manga, I just had to buy it too. I lent the volumes to my friends too.. I have to hear their final opinion though, but after reading the first few volumes they were sure that Touya and Yukito just fit perfectly together. *sighs happily*. They are the perfect couple and definitely one of my favourites.
I've been watching the series, but I must say that I prefer the manga. Also their relationship is more obvious in it. I find the CCS manga in many other ways really good, and it's one of my faves. I'd recommend buying the manga instead of the series

Oh, another title I recommend, although it doesn't have any mention of shonen-ai: Cafe Kichijoji. The manga's about five men working in this cafe and... well, that's basically it. All eye-candy, smiles, fluff and general fun. It's only got three volumes (and a few drama CDs), but the artwork's beautiful and the adventures grand.

They really do fit perfectly! And, yeah, even though I knew it was hinted for sure, I wasn't expecting it to be made officially canon. I just really wish they had managed to squeeze a little kiss in the story.. And I love how they are still together and obviously extremely close in Tsubasa. I haven't gotten too far into the story yet, but for what I've read their relationship is practically the same as in CCS.

I really want to get the manga! But I couldn't find a single volume in our local book store, which means that I need to look for it online. I really wished I lived in a bigger city.



Yeah, I really wish I hadn't acknowledge the existence of an Al/Ed romantic relationship, makes me feel really terrible. But, I can't help it, I just love it.

Champloo, yes Kaori's Boys Next Door is unbeatable. Omakase, it's not what you think it is. Last Client is almost on the same level, but not quite. Boys Next Door is foun at sakura-crisis. Ya just gotta love the angsty, depressing ones.

Who agree with me???) There's a yaoi pairing too, this is Saionji/Tôga (Am I the only one who thinks Saionji looks like Envy??)

heh, I can't explain what was going through me when it was "confirmed". I was so happy. It's rare that a slashy series has an actual couple(or then I haven't got enough experience). Yeah, I definitely wanted hmm.. something more. Yes, that kiss would have been good! It wasn't also that clear if they became an offical couple or not (quite clear though, but still..).
Tsubasa has Touya and Yukito in different worlds. There isn't much time to delve into the individual relationships, but in whatever world they're in they're always together and since the "essence" is the same... their essence is them together.
(I've grown accustomed to saying this).
And perfection. I loved ep 14... when the girls were going on how perfect and popular they both were (don't know how good they are in school though, but I suppose they're great at that too), but that it was one of the school's 7th mysteries that neither had a girlfriend. Having read the manga already I found that funny and realised that they truly were perfect in other ways too.

You can't find the manga? Wow... The 6th volume of the new additon came out just a few months ago and I still see the volumes of "Master of the Clow" on the shelves.. here in Finland, even though they're an older series (in a way). Well.. I just hope that you will find them! You haven't tried asking for them????
