Edo and Al reunite, that is a good thing right? I've been waiting for that ever since the series ended but somehow, I can't help but feel that things won't be as good as they seem right now. How can Al's soul be at two places at once? It is immpossible to make a soul so then one of them must be a fake? I really hope that Edo does not end up staying in our world now that there are so many things that are persuading him(brother-like Heiderich and now armor Al). Also theres the quote from the trailer "On the two's promised day, the world will move" That might have something to do with whats happening in Central and Lior...

Ah this doesn't reveal anything it just adds more confusion.

My personal guess is the Armor Al has Al's memories that Amestris Al lost. Those memories had to go somewhere so that is why they went beyond the gate. Now first I was wondering why the armor was different (as the article made a point to mentioned), but if everything in our world mirrors the FMA world then wouldn't it stand to reason that just like there are two Ed's and two Al's there are also two armors. So Al's lost memories and I guess a part of his soul traveled through the gate and were attracted to that armour. Amestris Al is also still out there with Al's childhood memories and then there is also Alphonse Hederich. So my theory is there will be 3 Al's in the FMA movie. I am not sure what this will all come to but this my theory for now until another Newtype article messes with my brain.

yes! finally we get to see a mature winry. she looks hott i really don't think that this magazine answers any of our questions, it just brings up more questions! argh! i mean, it's sort of obvious that ed and al will eventually meet but how the heck can Al be in two worlds at the same time? ugh, this is way too confusing.

What al has is
Lost memory, Childhood Memory, soul.

As kirara said, the armor may contain the lost memory.
I remember in the last trailer, Al was clapping his hand into
an armor. I think he is transfering something to the armor.

But the problem how the soul can be seperated in two world?

I thought it might have been envy... i think that would explain why theres those minor mistakes in the armor. But he can't change right? I'm confused, i just hope the endings good. And happy.

does anyone think that the 'Crisis of the World' that the magazine is referring [in Amestris] can be parallel to World War I in our world? Afterall, during the 1920s, WWI had just ended and the society's economy was plummeting...hmm.

I think its because Al's armour exists in both times, if he controls the armour in his time, maybe he can effect the armour in Ed's time. He was doing something with it in the trailer remember.

Gahhhh...I'm so confused here...all of your theories make sense to me...

1-The Alphonse is Munich just might be the incarnation of Alphonse's memories of when he was an suit of armor...I just thought it was kinda sad when he lost them, but you have to give of something to gain something else right.

2-The Alphonse of our world just might be Envy...That makes sense as well....It would be kinda stupid if he was stuck in the form of a snake...And he is a tricky bastard so there's no telling what he might pull off...

I like Winry's new look, esipicially her clothes...but she could have chosen another hairstyle. And it looks like something big is going to happen in Central and in Amestris...so this movie might be better than I thought.

Yeah, I thought that the Armor!Al in our world could be Envy in disguise, but now that I think about it, it wouldn't make sense.

I mean, didn't one of the magazines say something like "Ed hears rumors about a 'giant snake' blah blah blah"...? Ed couldn't have possibly heard of this if Envy was still shape-shifting like a happy-go-lucky freak. I'm guessing that Envy is stuck in that form. 1-well the incarnation?? i'm not sure, i think that al got some info about the gate and tried to get to see it. maybe it's that scene when he's transmuting some arnor in the newest trailer, i don't know. but if his soul in his armour went across the gate, maybe to acheve that and regain his memories he offered his body and went through. so he may rememeber everything now. and if that's the case, the next part of the movie is about them BOTH now trying to get back and to get back al's body and maybe memories
2-hmmm it would be hard for envy to change shape again. isn't he stuck in this form for over 2 years?? if he's able to shape his body, wouldn't he make a move to finish ed and hohenheim off already?? and basicaly, his changing shape is some kind of alchemy or maybe not but deffinetely some impossible power for our world


and now the usual part for everyone of us:

Well it's heartwarming to know that the brothers Elric to reunite (someway shape or form) and I don't think Wrath is that bad at all. I used to hate him though, lol.

... I'm... so confused. ^_^; I'm guessing Alphonse (Elric, not Heidrich), found some sort of way to communicate with his brother through the gate... Possibly by sending the armor through with his consciousness guiding it somehow? Notice the eyes for Al's armor body. They're... different. I'm thinking that maybe Al is just using the armor as a way to say hi to his brother. Its just nice to see them so happy, so i have no complaints if this is only a temporary meeting... At least this way they know the other brother is alive and well.

Ack. So confusing. Gotta agree that Winry's look reminded me of the manga short. As for the theories, darn, a bunch of them make sense. If it was Envy, then that would be really, really, really cruel. Ed just looks so happy in this scan. This is just throwing this out there, but wasn't Al's original armor body in the gate after he sacrificed himself as the Philospher's Stone? Did he find some way to open the gate, then got placed in that because he couldn't displace heidereich or maybe it was a failed transmutation? Ack. Now I'm confusing myself!

It truely shows how stronge there bond is as brothers even a another world can't keep them apart, kupo. Just knowing that they are going to be brought back together in way form or another puts a smile on my face. but hearing this news I think I can wait for the fansub now, kupo.

Oh man! looks like Al is choking Ed with one hand!

I really wonder what kind of a role Wrath will play in the movie. Since Edo is not around anymore he can't even steal the rest of his body even if he wanted to. But then again he already got his stolen limbs taken back from him so basically... he has no goal no purpose. Even more strange is that he can't regrow limbs to replace his stolen limbs... but hes a Homunculus. Did he lose his original limbs when he took Edo's and now that his are gone he can't regrow them??? In the scans he looks pretty mean and bitter. At least he didn't kill Winry and others after he got automail so he can't be all that bad. In the end he even tried to slow down Envy (though the purpose of that is unknown) when he was beating Edo and looked like he felt kinda bad when Edo died. Because of that I don't really hate him now but I hope he doesn't go and be a bad boy again >_<

I want to see Wrath beat up Envy!!! *gets beaten up by Envy-fangirls*

Hmm....Armor Al in Munich....oh well...theory time:
In the trailer, Human Al clapped his hands together and was about to move them towards the armor, so, maybe he is trying to get his soul over the door while his body and mind stays on the other side? And the armor acts like a kind of "body" while his soul was in German? So when his soul was over the door, the body he left behind would be like...dumb...asleep....doesn't react....or something like that.
But I don't think it's Envy, since in one of the three posters posted a while ago, it said stuff about the giant snake, can Envy turn back into his original form? I mean, if he really can transform, wouldn't he have transformed into some normal people and backstabbed Ed and Hohenheim? He must be really pissed off.
EDIT: 'soul'......WHAT'S WRONG WITH MY HAND???

Have any of you guys notice than ed has grown?! If you see really carefully, 16-year-old ed is below armored Al's shoulder and in the scan, ed in the scan is about the height of the shoulder... Hope i'm not blind or any drawing error. if it is, bones is really cruel to make Ed suffer by making him short...

that image has something really creepy... Eds doesnt look just happy, he has an extrange expresion, and Al seems so cold, his eyes look lifeless, and the way he is holding Ed, well it looks like he is "strangleholding" Ed. Also Al doesnt have the simbol on his arm...

I just viewed the image again and found that Ed's hairstyle is almost the same as mine right now and I am a girl 0.0

I think Hawkeye and Winry influenced each other a lot, so the similarities of hairstyle don't surprise me a lot

I like Al in the new body more... he's all grown up and really cute please don't put him back in the armour, movie company! (BONES?)
