This wasn't in the mangas, but there were suppose to be omakes at the end of some DC mangas. They're about Aoyama-sensei and his assistant adventures or something. Bloody and murder related. Some are funny, some are just plain weird.

I like "Detective Conan" but I stoped watching it because it stoped coming on on saturdays. I know go to bed after the second samurai champloo.

I adore both manga and anime (and the movies too ), but it's becoming far toooo long...I hope Aoyama-sensei is thinking to the ending...

he has thought of the ending a long time ago. this kind of show, you would expect it to be long. it's very unrealistic that throwing down a huge organisation in like 10, 20 vol, unless it started near the climax. in this case, it started at the scene before the climax scene's, before's before's before's before's before's, but just not at the starting...sorry, i'm talking cra( B ).

Personally, I don't like the idea of Shun Oguri (Alphonse Heiderich from FMA movie) doing Shinichi... he doesn't resemble him at all and he's... too... old... (and tall) And from the pictures, he should've had black hair instead...
Ran's actor is perfect age, but... she doesn't make a very nice Ran. And Tomoka Kurokawa and Shun Oguri's height difference is too large... @_@

Meguri and Sonoko's actor are just different, but I truly think Takanori Jinnai is the BEST. >_<
He makes such a wonderful Kogoro!!

I just can't wait for the live-action!!

I'm not too far in but I have read the first few volumes of this manga and I'm really enjoying it. Sadly I borrowed them from a library and they have no more so I have to get them another way now.

Over here (north america), two companies licensed the anime (Cartoon Network/Adult Swim and YTV which ironically shares the same initials with Yomuri ). It lasted for 50 episodes on one station and 21 on the other (respectively). Also, all the Japanese episodes were pulled from Youtube, so... there's really no watching it here... And although the manga's much better, I'd still watch it for the phenominal voice acting (Kappei Yamaguchi!!!).

The name changes are pretty crapped-up (everything's explained in Wikipedia), so I've resorted to reading fan-translated stuff... Only to Vol 4 yet though. It takes.... so long...

BTB, I think it would take somewhere around two months straight to watch the whole series.

I just got into the manga 4 days ago and I love it <3 I'm on Volume 30.

I really like Heiji, Ai, and Kid the Phantom Thief =D

(And yes, I read fan translations, I greatly prefer the names there than the official ones >___>)

This month, volume 50 will be published and I'm really waiting for this one, because there will be a jubilee-special inside. ^^ I'm really looking forward to buy it. It should be published this week... I don't want to wait any longer.

The cases I like most are the ones with Heiji. ^^ I think he's my favorite character, but my favorite pairing is ShinichixRan. XD

Yay me too. I LOVE ShinichixRan. My fav chars are Conan(smaller and cuter than Shinichi )and Ran along with Kaito Kid.
