Well, I'm fourteen and have never had a boyfriend, but now that I've turned pretty (Childhood obesity... @_@), I have quite a few guys after me. Although I hate most of them, there is one I'm quite attracted to, and... well, you won't believe it, but he's older than me, yet shorter than I am. It's like Ed and Winry all over again. XD

I don't know. I'm starting to sound like a feminist again, though. D: *beats self over the head with a mallet*

My first boyfriend was when I was 13. That guy was a jerk.

Now, I have my second boyfriend at age 14. I think this guy likes me a lot more than I like him >.<

Ah, I dunno what to put for an answer. I'm sorta going out with a guy but we're not on speaking terms at the moment...

I wanna brag...in middle school alone, I've gone out with 6 guys. All of them different ethnicities, looks and personalities. I'm not a sl*t. Things just never work out with the guys. The guy I'm with now was my 5th exboyfriend but I'm afraid he might break-up with me again.

A lil factoid: I'm older than all the guys I've gone out with but I'm also shorter than all of them. ^o^

If you're not talking to him then don't go out with him in the first place.



If he broke up with you once because things didn't work out, so why the heck did you go out with him the second time?

Back on topic:

I had my first boyfriend when I was... 11-12... (Well, I was pretty young so I don't know if it actually counts.)

But now, it doesn't really interest me anymore, plus I decided I will not go out with someone at school, just because most of teenagers boys are immature, though I'm actually attracted by one of my friends, he's really childish so I don't think our relationship would last long...

I've had two not all that serious boyfriends and one serious one.....
I currently have an "online" relationship with former forum member kimimaru.

My current thoughts on high school dating-

I get the sneaking suspicion that couples don't really know what their relationship is, or why, they are so obsessed with being 'in love', but they're sure fast to want to show off to the world about how in love they are. (Or to angst about how bad their past 'love' was)

While I try so much not to be cynical about real love and relationships, I believe much more strongly in platonic and familial love than this so called 'love' tripe that people my age like to spew. It's more like accessorisation; people don't french kiss in public and put their hands all over eachother while they walk because they 'love' eachother; they do it because they're in love with being in love, and because they're in love with letting everyone know and see just how awesome they are for scoring in the great movie-theatre concept.

Furthermore, dating is favoritism, and while I desperately want to be happy when two of my friends start dating, and I don't want to say I'm jealous- I am. I really really am. When two people start dating each other, suddenly, you just can't seem to talk to either of them normally anymore. You can't pry them off of each other, or get a word in edgewise without them trying to snog each other, or talk about the other, or make some other asinine display manifesting how crazy they feel when they're so smitten with eachother. And then there's the drama of breakups. Dating interrupts the flow of friendship, and quite frankly, it's really pissing me off right now. I wish I could tell the people I love to just stop obsessing over their 'romance', without sounding like a total jerk.

I say go get 'em girls. It's good to have variety. Also, back in the olden times girl would go out on dates with alot of guys and weigh her options. But there's still guys who are into the whole whore/madonna line of thinking. They're not usually worth your time.

Right now I'm in the best relationship I've ever had! I finally found the girl of my dreams, someone that puts up with my crap. I'm a pretty happy guy at this point, with the love of my life by my side. Would'nt have it any other way.

Seriously, though. I feel like there must be something wrong with me when I'm 17 and I've never even been on a 'date', and that I'm not looking for a relationship right now, because I value building friendships more.

Of course, then those friends get to go off and get their little soulmate-of-the-week, and plain ol' friends are chopped liver. It frustrates me, because I don't want to judge whether or not their emotions are serious, but I just don't want to suddenly be second priority when someone I care about has found a new mouth to put their tongue in, and therefore by some odd teenage logic, is in 'love'.
