I'd agree somewhat. I really wouldn't care so much, but I doubt a 13 year olde knows what they want and is ready for a serious relationship. I think it all depends on maturity. Of course there are pros and cons to that notion, but let's not get into that.

My sister has a boyfriend but it is all in name...she's only 12 but they've been good friends for a few years. They were meant to be going to the cinema together but he broke is leg and bought HER a present for missing their date.

This reminds me of the time my friend went out with a guy who just went out with her to get her body. She was actually in love with her and literally gave up her life for him. I like my BF situation because he's been my best friend for 7 years.
