Elysia;s little voice broke my heart. And then Gracia was like, "He's gone, baby". Omg... and Armstrong crying *for real this time* didn't help.

I started to cry when he fell, but at the funeral..."Daddy, wake up!"...that just broke my heart. By the end I was sobbing so hard that I couldn't breathe.

He lightened the series so much...I'm really gonna miss him.

I was just about to start a thread of this. OMFG I cried my eyes out especially when Elysia started calling for Hughes to wake up, I couln't believe it happened. Dang and Hughes was one of the best optimistic characters ever, plus did you see how fast he could draw those knives, he even got Lust before she struck him, and she is a fast one. Oh and the other thing that made me mad about the episode is that Envy (right?) changed into his wife before killing him. Grrr that really ticked me off.

I watched it again... and again and it finally sunk in at long last; Hughes is dead. And then I couldn't stop. Ughhh...

When I first saw this episode I felt suspicious of why Hughes turned around and stopped when he was running outside before he reached the phone. Then I noticed that the lady(forgot her name) was Envy cause I was like "Why is she so quite and uptight?.....and gazing at the photo like that?"When she revealed herself I was like "OMG, I was right it was Envy!" *Hughes slits Envy's throat* "Did he kill her?....or is she...?"

Then before ya know it I was tearing my eyes out cause Hughes died. And the grimy thing about this is that when he died Envy took the form of his wife. Another thing is that Hughes had VERY important information that could have helped Roy even more. In the end.....noone (except Hughes) knew about Lust and Envy and the others.

The Funeral was just sad......Everyone cried...including me. Hughes was one of my favorite characters period cause he reminds me of my father when I was a kid. It's also sad to know that Ed will never get the chance to thank him.....I HATE ENVY!!!! *stomps on picture of Envy*

I didn't cry for the English premiere. I cried when I saw it in the Japanese. The English one choked me up, though. T_T

Ed can still thank him...maybe he can hear him too...it just wouldn't seem like he would hear him because he can's see Hughes smile and tell him he's welcome and ask if he wants to see his newest picture of Alicia...poor child...

It's bad to watch an episode when you know what's going to happen. My friend Katie got episodes 1-51 in Japanese and she told me that Envy killed Hughes and how and everything...it's just that I didn't know when he was going to get killed. And also, if Envy wasn't a homonculus, she/he would have been sooooo dead...yay enemy bloodshed...damn, I think I'm a little morbid, don't you?

I wonder if Mustang will become Fuhrer (sp?) now without Hughes there to support him and help him get to such a rank. If he does become Fuhrer, I feel sorry for Riza...good luck in your "tiny miniskirt" Hawkeye...

Edit: the seven deadly sins are.....Lust, Envy, Glutton, Greed, Pride, Sloth, and Wrath.

AWWWW! Armstrong is such a big softie! I see his crying when Ed and Al leave lol that was funny. I've decided that even though he likes to strip he's still awsome lol!

He's a great guy, at heart. Annoying as he may be, I still love good old Armstrong.

Hopefully he'll keep the mood of this series light! I doubt they kill him off, he's one of the main comic reliefs and besides.. who will be Ed and Al's "bodyguard"?

I can't believe that they killed Hughes off! That was so mean of them! I couldn't keep from crying when Envey killed him and espically not when his daughter started asking why they were burying her daddy.... That poor girl. She was only four and her dad was killed... I'd hate to see what will happen when she's told what happened to her dad when she's older and can understand this...

I bawled like a baby...Then I bawled harder when Hughes's daughter asked why her mother was letting them bury her father...

I'd be crushed if I was Elysia; she was so confused, why were people crying? why was her daddy in that box? and why were strange people burying him? What did mom mean that he was gone? she was so lost, and confused; who would expect her to understand?
