The ending theme song of the upcoming Fullmetal Alchemist movie: Conqueror of Shambala, performed by L'Arc～en～Ciel has been announced. Titled 'Lost Heaven' it is to go on sale on June 22nd, with the band's new album "Awake'.

Hmm? That may be true for live-action movies, but for animated movies (especially in Japan) where the songs are performed by popular artistes, it's quite common for them to release albums with the new songs shortly before the official opening. : )

nope. the dub watchers probably won't see it for quite awhile, and i don't know if funimation is going to do much concerning the movie until they finish the series itself.

It may not for years. I hope it comes soon after the end of the series though, I hate waiting...

It probably won't come out for another two years, at the very least. I'm sure fan subbers will get a hold of it as soon as it comes out on DVD in Japan (sometime at the end of this year).

I mean, you figure that FMA is back on Adult Swim in November for another 27 weeks (episodes 26-51), so that would probably go on until April/May of 2006. Then production & dubbing takes a while, so yeah, we should get it in about two years. ^^
