I hate games that start you back at the beginning if you die, and you have to try and collect all the items and such all over again.

yeah! There are points in PP TTT that do that but not all the time.
Vash_the_Gunslinger
I hated the first boss fight with Alma in Ninja Gaiden. I must have died 10 times or so.

I hate it when you play games for sooo long and then you finally beat it and get a terrible ending >_>
Blaze_01
I know what you mean. It's like: I played for hours, just to see THIS?!!! What a ripoff! mad.gif

expecially the so-called 'Secret endings' =_= you work so hard to get certain items or somthing and then they give you a 3 minute ending laugh.gif

Game designers want us to throw our controllers at our TV's don't they? D:
Blaze_01
Some of them seem like it, but the games that I've got have pretty cool endings.

I was thinking of the Final Fantasy games there, but i don't play that much of a variaty of games, from what i know the secret endings suck laugh.gif

In my opinion anyway
Blaze_01
I'm more into First Person Shooters and Flight Sims, but I do have some RPG's (Inuyasha: Secret of the Cursed Mask, FullMetal Alchemist: Broken Angel, FMA: Curse of the Crimson Elixir, and Front Mission 3.) I liked the ending of the 2nd FMA game, but the one game that really makes me angry is Halo 2, with Cortana getting left behind on High Charity, at the mercy of Gravemind. Hopefully, the Master Chief will be able to get her back in Halo 3.

Well, I recently got the new Final Fantasy VII game (Dirge of Cerberus), and I was a tad ticked off at either how easy the bosses were... Though its fun!
Vash_the_Gunslinger
I hated the ending for Halo 2. They are forcing me to buy an Xbox 360. I would only buy an Xbox 360 if it's at least $200, but not the prices they have now.
Blaze_01
I agree. The Xbox 360 is waaaaaay too overpriced. I wish they'd have brought Halo 3 onto the original Xbox, so it would be possible to see if the Master Chief can save the entire human race from extinction, without having to wait until the 360 comes down to a more affordable price.
Vash_the_Gunslinger
I hate the find all triforce pieces from Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker. It's long quest and boring, but the only way to continue with the story.

Those damned chocobo side-quests in the latter Final Fantasy games made me want to gauge my eyes out. The Temple of Trials in FF10 was also a royal pain in the ass. I think Square Enix likes when angry gamers yell obsenities at the screen.
Blaze_01
Any game that pits you up against a boss that has attacks that kill you in one hit, or where the boss has so much HP, that its impossible to kill him before he takes you out.

...i found them kinda hard actually laugh.gif;; and i had it on normal ._. i like things easy though so i should'nt talk xD
Blaze_01
I'm gonna buy that game and give it a whirl.

Right now i'm completly lost in World of Warcraft. This guy wants me to kill a certain # of trolls, but I cant find the cave anywhere, and now i'm lost x_x Why... Why doesnt Blizzard have a better detailed map?
Blaze_01
I hate being lost for hours on end, wandering about aimlessly, but that doesn't happen to me too often, since I can memorize the correct routes to take after playing a game 3 or 4 times. Still, I do wish there was a map for the more difficult areas in certain games.
Popogeejo
FPS multi player, one shot kills with bots. I hate it when bots can survive clear hits only to then frag you. Bloody irritating.
Blaze_01
I know what you mean, dude. That's why I usually only take on human opponents. I also hate constantly having to swap around the equipment of my AC in Armored Core II: Another Age, to keep my AC below the mission's weight limit.

I've been there they either do that or play the original ending which has been extended by a minute or so
Blaze_01
It certainly does seem that way at times.

DO NOT MENTION THE CURSED CLOISTER OF TRIALS. D;

...Especially the Bevelle one. I lost hours of sleep trying to work that damn thing out. *twitch*
Blaze_01
I REALLY hate the 3rd mission of Level one on the PS2 game Fireblade, where you have to fly in with your helicopter cloaked, and use the sniper cannon and EMP weapon, to take out the enemy sentries and vehicles, before they can raise an alarm. There's just so many of the little buggers, that one of them is almost certain to escape. I finally beat that mission a week after I bought the game, but it royally ticked me off until then.

The game Sword of Mana had several parts in the plot that miffed me. But I stayed with the game hoping the end would make up for it all. It didn't. >>

Especially disappointing since Legend of Mana was one of my favorite games ever. (I've yet to get my hands on Secret, I heard it much better than Legend, and if tnhat's true, I'd love to play it) Even more disappointing was that Sword was a remake of Final Fantasy Adventure, which pretty much started the mana franchise. >>

There is a particular part in FFX right before you fight Sin. You're in the Sea of the Dead or something like that, but you have to run across this place that reminds you of Macalania. These massive crystal-like objects shoot out of the ground all around you and you have to run and dodge them otherwise if you get hit, you're thrust into some pretty terrible battles, especially with Malboro who uses it's Bad Breath attack on your and you're instantly rendered confused. OMG I LOATHE that part. Also the Cloister of Trials in Bevelle are a royal pain.

In Final Fantasy VII, I hated trying to beat that Demon Wall at th Temple of the Ancients. Emerald and Ruby weapons were hard as well and had me decently peeved, along with the Materia Keeper. I also hated the chocobo quest you had to do to get past the Midgar Zolom.
Blaze_01
I hate the level in Halo 2: Quarantine Zone. It's like a maze, and the constant Flood Attacks drive me nuts. Since you're playing as the Arbiter, I use the following weapons: Plasma Sword and Covenant Carbine.
Dark Dragon Alchemist
I hate it when you play Tales of Symphonia and you just killed Mithos, then the minute you beat him he comes back stronger and you don't get healed and when you do kill him again it takes about 20 mins. for Lloyd to say 2 words! dry.gif

Goodbye.............................................................(twenty mins later) Mithos..........................(another ten mins) mad.gif
Blaze_01
Some of the simulator missions in Front Mission 4. They're full of obstacles that throw off your aim,and there's WAY too many enemies. That, and some of them don't even reward you with any bonus parts for winning. Other than that, however, I love the game.

I remember that it took me like a month to defeat Pride in Dual Sympathy as Roy. mad.png
Blaze_01
Ouch...that must've been one heck of a nasty fight...
Zalamist
It was really easy once I figured it out, but very annoying until I did! I thought playing the game as Roy would have been the easiest. smile.gif

I HATE HATE HATE HATE HAAAATE that part. T_T
And the worst bit is that if you die against the final boss you gotta do it all over again. sad.gif

...SquareEnix really know how to piss people off. wacko.gif

Speaking of FF10 (I think it was 10, it was the one with Tidus) I remember having the Game Shark on which enabled me to have all of the summons. Every time I'd use a summon during a boss fight the game would freeze. You'd think I'd learn my lesson about the cheats, but I never do. geek.gif
Blaze_01
I really hate the timed missions in the PS2 game based on the 2007 Transformers movie. You've gotta practically floor the throttle, and if you even go off course a little bit, you won't have enough time.
coyote_sprit
Any movie game really miffs me out, so basically the whole Ea and Activision catalog of games miff me out.
Zalamist
(It's off topic, but I love your sig coyote. That's really amazing!)

I have to agree with you too that most games about a movie are rather lousy unless I'm a diehard fan of the movie/tv show.
Blaze_01
Same here, which is why I only buy games based on movies/franchises that I'm a big fan of. I've been a die-hard Transformers fan since I saw the original series back in the 80's, so I have no problem playing Transformers games.

Another part of games that ticks me off is in RPG's, when you can't even take one or two steps without a random battle popping up. I can deal with it, but it's just annoying after a while.

I think that was about my only gripe with FF7. I'd tend to be lost and jumping into battle every other second would just be that much more frustrating since I'd lose track of where I was going again. I like how as the FF's evolved you started being able to see the mob and attempt to avoid it or at least have an idea of when you were going to enter combat.
coyote_sprit
The Northern Continent of Final Fantasy VII sucked much.

Been stuck on him for like 3 weeks now >___<

Thanks in advance ^^

Here is a youtube video of one technique that someone used: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Gc7g-8VzSg

How to beat Pride: The method in that video seems harder than the way which I was finally able to defeat him. When he jumps into the sky, get off the wall, and run around. When Pride lands, you punch at him (more of a fake punch than anything). You'll miss, but turn around as fast as you can, and punch again because he appears behind you. You should make contact and do a small chunk of damage. I just kept widdling away until Pride was dead and avoided most of the other stuff by making walls to block his swords.

If that doesn't work let me know and I'll try to elaborate more. Let me know how you make out!
Hanozo
I would say when you are playing online (like call of duty 4) and you lag and get killed since your shooting nothing but air but to you it looks like your shooting the guy.
Blaze_01
There's one mission in Air Force: Delta Strike (PS2) that REALLY irritates me. You have to fly around and blast apart a ton of enemy ground defenses, avoid their detection systems, AND try to knock out the enemy pilots, including a VERY annoying ace, all while dodging buildings, and trying not to fly up too high, where they've got a laser barrier net in place. That mission is annoying as I don't know what.
Fushi
I hate it when in Phoenix Wright I miss something that's totally obvius. It's always the obvious stuff that I get stuck on. It's not the game's fault, so I'm not miffed at it, just at myself for being so stupid and having to resort to a guide to realize the witness said the wrong name...

hmmm... what game part pissed me off the most? the entire conceptual idea behind the crapfest that is a boy and his blob for nes... even as a child i wanted to stab whatever assclown came up with that idea

Wow, lol, that's wild. Boy and his Blob is David Crane. Pitfall's David Crane. The guy is huge in video games.

He's the only programmer of that early generation who still, to this day, is involved in making games. Yeah, he still programs. He programs for cell phones mostly.

He also started activision.

Wow, no love for the classics, I can't believe it. The guy is a legend, like almost miyamoto level.

Man, there is this awful bug in Prince of Persia: warrior within. I hit it one time, but thank god I had another save game. If you save in the main hall under certain circumstances, it will completely corrupt your save game.

Kaput.Pop: WW was a great game, but that bug was ruthless.

Another horrible bug was in Xmen legends 2. If you used the Item box too much, again, it would corrupt your save. I had to start the whole friggin game over.

Just something irritating; I despised the box system in Resident Evil. Back and forth to the boxes just got so repetitive.
Little Washu
In the .hack//G.U. games, when a person dies how to have to wait for their body to hit the ground and become a ghost before you can revive them. And when you do become a ghost, how you can walk around or change the strategy. Ya just sit there T^T.
Funkyduck
Let's see... The most annoying point in any game is for me when the main character and some other character (usually a major character or a villain) talk and talk and talk, and you just want to get on with the game, but they won't shut up. This happened at the very end of Super Mario Sunshine, and near the end of Chocobo Tales.
