Haha - we bought it just a couple hours ago. Nee's downstairs playing ^.^

We bought ours at EB Games. It wasn't on the shelf, so I asked the guy at the counter if they had a copy. He typed a bunch of things into his little computer (which took like...FOREVER) and he said, "I don't think we have a copy yet..." We just continued nagging - then he goes and checks on the shelf behind the counter - and there it was. Yay!

So far I have watched that little music video at the beginning (uber-cute) and the re-animated version of episode 1 - I can't wait to see more video clips

Sorry about your trouble finding the game Scars of love. Hopefully your searching will pay off soon. I was able to find it yesterday at Gamespot fortunately. Didn't have it on the shelves had to ask. Had it behind the counter. Anyway, haven't had much time to play yet, went for the DVD first lol. (Is it just me or does Ed's Automail look a bit different in the new animated sequences for the game?)

I got the game Wed or yesterday really late so I couldn't play it. Then today or Thurs and beat the game which was really easy Now I am replaying the game and getting all bonus item.

You know, I don't think the game follows the anime very. I think it's following more closely to the manga, like in...

[spoiler] Rose was hiding in Al's armor, like in the manga. The Chimera looks more like the chimera in the manga, and there's no sand. Little comments in the office after beating Bald is similiar to what was said in the manga, like the "I owe you" part. [/spoiler]

Just a tip for those of you that don't know...

In the beginning when the game is loading, you get the Square Enix screen. The voice of who says it changes by what day it is, so you can go through and change the date in your PS2 system configuration and hear a new voice each time. I did a bit of it last night and there was one that made me laugh. There are a couple I can't distinguish well, but of course I pulled out Ed's voice and Al's voice and Armstrong's (you'd have to be deaf to miss his)...and one I think was Riza's but it sounds so perky. It's too low pitched to be Winry, unless my hearing really is bad.

Anyway, just a tip. Apparently there is one where everyone says it at the same time but I haven't found that one yet.

ya i noticed that 2 i only have heard 2 voices one was i believe Armstrong and the other was Scar ill have to see if i can get all of them

I FINALLY got it. and i have to say im impressed. the gameplay is very addictive. but it a few hours ago and i'm already at Chapter 4. Anyways i saw the 2 episodes too. both were great and were really intresting. only thing Funi could've did was stop being money whores and shown the full ending. aside from that i loved the dvd and i love the game so far.

i beat the first one and im getting the second one this week damn walmart didnt have it

I saw both FMA and FMA2 on the shelf of Electronic Boutique yesterday. Good sales prices, both under 30 bucks. I was told not to get it today but on the first of August because my wife said to have Ed on the computer all day and to have him on the PS2 would be unbearable.

lol well im getting mine soon my moms gonna take me to best buy when she gets a day off

I got my game at Target, 'cause the other stores didn't have it XD

if best buy dont have it then i'll ask my mom to take me to target so is the game fun it looks fun it looks better than the first(even though it don't have armony i miss her)

Yeah, I just beat that thing today. I took me two tries and a lot of items before I could defeat him.
But here's my trick, beat all the tiny golems first. After they're all gone, the big guy will spew out eggs. Rush towards them to transmute them in either bombs or gauntlets. With the bombs, you'll be able to attack him from afar and the gauntlets hit him rather hard.

All that aside, I got the game this week.

So far, I think it's pretty good. Better the first one, but I did like the graphics better in the first, cell shading has never been my favorite.
My favorite part as got to be the voices. It's much less dull than just reading text. Plus, since I watch FMA subbed even on dvd, it gives me a chance to enjoy the english cast as well (even if I do wish sometimes that an option to keep the original japanese voice track was available.)

Plus, the story is better than the first one either. Blending in elements from the anime make it much more fun I think. Oh, and I like the fact that Edward can now transmute weapons all the time (lance, sword, hammer) but I like the attacks he had with Alphonse better in the first game.

All in all, a quite decent game.

lol, I started playing the first game again, and I got so confused when I pushed down the R1 button (I think) and whenever Al came, he didn't toss me up in the air like in the second game XD

hey...um i just got the 2nd game like last week ...maby not even...i dunno but im at the boss in the caves...like after the doors open but i havent gone through the doors yet...and ive been gettin help online and doing pritty good but the online help said to get 2 level 2 gauntlets or somthing....i dunno what a gauntlet is...can anyone help me? thnaks!

and on like the first page or somthing some one had an ed icon...smiely face thing...where did you get that?! that was cool!

o yea and although this is about hte second game ...still ..... i cant beat the first one.. heh... ....cuz im stuck on the flying chimera everyone just says to like...transmute everything and shoot at him but i cant and al sucks at shooting him cuz he waits and waits and waits and when it comes close he doesnt do it!

I don't even remember getting a gauntlet when I fought her.... all I did was go into the fight, lose once, fight her again, and win XD

haha yea i tryed fighting her with out it but i had a full rage gadge thing...so i did that and kept hitting her and i won the first time!! ^^ yay! but now im at the like...goulm boss thing witch is realy creepy and i tryed 2 times and i havent beat him! hes so hard!

and in the middle of the fight with the creepy woman it said power up! ed can now make level 2 gauntlets hehe...

i got halfway into it yesterday when i realized that i forgot to buy a memory card...

I have both the games, but I'm stuck on both of them. I'm gonna try and beat the parts I'm at tonight, since I haven't played them in forever.
