"Bokura no Digital World" tore me between being scared and amused, Kasumi. ^^ Voices, just...yaaargh. XD I liked some of Digimon's (JAPANESE, definitely- English version does not count for music ) music, though- there were a couple of nice image themes in there and "Ashita wa Atashi no Kaze ga Fuku" amuses me. >.<

Hello, all. Digimon fan since 2001. Supporter of Takari, Taiora (to some extent) and much random rantage. Though I didn't really like Tamers as a whole that much, I thought that Jenrya's and Ruki's characters were nice. Most of the diehard fans still interested today are 01 and 02 carryovers. Not truly into Frontier that much because they...sort of...messed it up in the English version. One of the things that's always, always always irked me is their Westernisation of their names, and this time... O_o Then again, it's always been a bit odd. ^^;

Have you noticed that Tamers' art was slightly different from that of the other seasons? Or was that just me?

I got ridiculed for being a Digimon fan at my age...ah, nice to see a thread for it here. ^^

I know what you mean, Artemis Winter. Well, I suppose if the chorus didn't sound like that, then it'd be a great song. XD It's actually a really sad song, despite the characters screaming and yelling in the background. ;;

I noticed the difference in the art... Can't say which style I liked better, but I was glad Frontier's art went back to the Adventures and 02 style. Made it feel like Adventures and 02 wasn't all that far away...

I adore the best partner/tamer/etc songs as well. Only One...Goggle Boy, Atarashii Taiyou and all the rest! The Frontier ones were amazing!

I actually liked the music from Tamers the best- with the exception of four or five tracks, 01 and 02 didn't have anything particularly brilliant. I liked most of the songs that AiM (Ai Maeda) did for the whole series, though.

Oh I know! I still watch the movie! Once it got to the 3rd season I sorta stopped watching it. 1st and 2nd were my favs.......and I loved Tai by the 2nd season....and by the time Ken got in....geez, you should've seen me! I was so happy......same with Davis. My friend has always loved Matt......haha, and since's she's such a great artist she would draw him along with Gabumon........

Oooh... songs... I really don't know very many, I wish I had heard more of them, especially character songs. My absolute all-time favourite would be Brave Heart(funny, just like in SK ). I heard it a long long time ago for the first time(yay, even in our dubbed verson they kept all the Japanese songs!) and it still doesn't get old. But I have actually loved all the Digimon songs I've heard. Hmm.. I've heard a few from Tamers and Frontier too.. I love Biggest Dreamer and Evo... oh well, all actually

Izu: I think I mentioned earlier that I like to see Daisuke with Ken too.. Kensuke is one of my favourite pairings in Digimon! I really think that there was more basis and proof for that than for Ken and Miyako, although I'm not against that pairing.
Daisuke, was the only one, who truly understood Ken and found the connection between them, that lead to the fusing(jogress shinka)

I like Makino Ruki's image songs- Orikasa Fumiko's a very good voice actress for her. Brave Heart was okay at first, but it sort of wore on me...Evo was nice. "Find Out" by AiM was very good, especially the beginning. "Kaze" and "My Tomorrow"- 03 Tamer's opening and ending themes, respectively, were both cute also.

"Butterfly", 01's opening theme, is stuck in my head even if it's not my favorite out of the themes, it's still classic and fairly spiffy. ^^

Eh? If we're determining relationships by way of jogress, then we've got some odd pairings going on. XD

I mean, everyone were pretty much friends with each other, but there was something special between Daisuke and Ken. It got hinted often enough
Their jogress was more dramatic, more beautiful than those of the others. That would be just my opinion though
With Miyako and Hikari and Takeru and Iori it was with the one thing that they didn't understand in each other that prevented them. They knew that they had to understand it so that they could also jogress shinka like Ken and Daisuke. Yeah, they were the ones who started it. They didn't know about anything like that. It came naturally.

Well, true. And in the 25-years-later clip at the end of 02, only two canon couples were made known- Sorato (gonk) and Kenyako. Hikari didn't seem to have ended up with any of the Chosen Children. But Takari has never really been called an alternate couple since (there used to be T_T) the movement of Takari fans was huge.

Oh, it's sad to see how all of the old diehards from 2000-2002 are gone. The only fansites up these days are either for Frontier, haven't been updated since last year, or they're old database sites like Lelola, and my favorite fanartists and fanfic writers have been long gone, among them Koani (her art was awesome and hilarious). *schniffle* I managed to snag a few of her shots before her site closed, but I can't find anymore of it. ;_;

personally, i was really disappointed that taiora never happened but i didn't expect her to leave yamato after they started dating in 02. i'm even more disappointed that we never got to see takari, but i guess the animators just didn't want to break up the daisuke/takeru/hikari triangle. i really want to know who those three married, though! no one (other than kari) belongs with takeru and what nut married daisuke?

Ah, I still play Pokemon, the games, with the utmost enthusiasm, but I never was really a show enthusiast. ^^ My little sister- mature beyond imagination- was a Digimon enthusiast as well, is fourteen now, still supports it, and people think even she's too old for it. When she told me this, I was "O_o...and what does that make me?"

I was really disappointed with Takariness in 02, or lack thereof- they gave us one fanservice episode, episode 13, the dub entitled it "His Master's Voice" and left it there. No resolution, no nada. *sigh* Eh, whatever. ^^

The 'Takeru protecting Hikari when the hologram of Digimon Kaiser appeared' was a better hint/moment IMO. I don't know, I liked every other hint better than "His Master's voice" To me, fanservice or not, the plot seemed way too forced.

I think I sort of did too, in defiance of what actually happened. In denial comes the strongest supporters, ne? XD Having things actually happen put me off...I was a mild supporter of Kenyako, and when it came to pass, the rest of us just went "Meh..." and that lost its interest. ^^

Oh, and of course Riza owns Roy, We never doubted it. XD

About Gabumon-chan...Gbumon looks alot like Agumon without the fur...the fur is only on his back and only real held on by his horn and On his hands. The difference between Agumon and Gabumon (w/o fur) is Gabumon has 5 fingers, a horn, and that thing on his stomach....

Exactly; Kenyako wasn't part of a love triagle unless you reallllly were desperate to make up a third corner- Takari and Taiora were just something you could defend in face of those who supported the other corner of the triangle, so they were more interesting. ^^

Patamon? The bat-pig! XD Neh, he was cute, but I like Gatomon, call me biased for being a cat lover. ^^ However, out of evolutions and whatnot of them in all seasons, I'd have to say that Renamon's were the most interesting...if the English dub hadn't *slaughtered* the names. >.>....

Um, on talk about shippers, I'm one of the worst probably(see certain thread)... I was really dissapointed with the sorato thing... stil,l like stated it wasn't really that clear at the end. A very unfair thing to make everyone like taiora and then BOOM, it wasn't meant to be... *gets angry*

I just can't support taiora that much anymore, knowing about what happened. I know about the end, even though I haven't seen the series yet.. stupid me, spoiling. But I can watch the film and I still like to think that maybe Taichi and Sora realised later on (huh Yamato and Sora divorced?) how compatable they really were with each other...

Oh, and I don't like the names either! (guess I mentioned it before), but then again I didn't have to endure them, so it doesn't matter.

Oh, the career choices seemed okay to me... I like it that Taichi and Agumon became diplomats I think that the choices were pretty fitting... *thinks hard*. Yes, just what I'd imagine, although I thought that Taichi would do something a bit more involved with sports. Diplomat? Taichi ? I still like it though...

As for fanfics...ah! There was a day when I visited FFN daily and read all the new ones, no matter what the pairing. I just couldn't get enough. XD Has anyone read Athena's Donkey Madness? It was my favorite. Too bad she never finished the sequel. ;o;

The only good takari fic I've read was a real tearjerker...Though, I don't know where that fic could be found now, as I read it years ago (not to mention, I've forgotten the name of the fic)... I can't believe it's been that long.

AWESOME Takari fics. "Faith of My Fathers" by Kale, and all of Kale's Takari stories, can be found at www.fanfiction.net/~eowynthefair. Eowyn is posting Kale's stories for him now that he has left the fanfic world. The "Seihad" trilogy by TK Takaishi at www.fanfiction.net/~tktakaishi are three of the most BRILLIANT Digimon fics I've read, or any fics, anywhere. Besides those, there are only a handful that aren't completely moronic. Another good author was www.fanfiction.net/~saystb and she (TB) has just also called it quits.

My sister and I are still fanfic connoiseurs. We keep a personal archive. XD
