Digimon was meant to be 7 seasons? No, I didn't know that... Oh no fair that they didn't continue it.. It had a lot of potential. But the seasons were individual stories, so it's not that bad. I would have liked to see new/other stories from the Digimon universe though... but who knows how theybwould have turned out. There are high expectations after all.

@Kihaku: Tala and Bryan are part of the original/series. But they show up near the end of the series.
Anyway, Den Geki is liscensed Viz... except the problem is that Den Geki went through thousands of edits. (there were A LOT of perverted jokes in there... ^^;;) Yes, I agree with you that it has loads of possibilities, with Ash and Gary travelling together and all, but unfortunately, that's not likely... At the end of the manga, BEFORE Ash and Gary started travelling together...something quite serious happened between Ash and Misty. *cough*

I thought the 7 seasons thing was just a rumour? Anyway, I personally wouldn't have wanted that many seasons. Even though they would be different series with entirely different storylines, things do get repetitive. Then people would lose interest, leading to the expectations going down... Frontier is a good example. People simply gave up after Tamers, without actually giving Frontier a chance. Now, Frontier didn't have the best storyline, but it certainly wasn't bad either. But people gave up on it simply because it was "another Digimon series." Imagine what would happen if there were other series that followed?
*shrugs* Well, that's just my opinion anyways. As Kihaku said, who knows how it would've turned out? It may have been a success.

Oh, but if anyone read the Viz copy of Den Geki, they wouldn't know that happened, because, obviously, that part was edited.

Pokemon Adventures is a pretty dark manga... Less humour, more angst. I wish I could get my hands on that manga... I only have 2 chapters of it. T_T The rest, I just read summaries and took a look at a few scans here and there.

I think it's TakaoxHitomi ^^; I find it more likely than KaixHitomi I don't think Kai will be interested in girls anytime soon or he may just move on to the other gender

It probably has something to do with the fact that you don't know Den Geki!Ash and Den Geki!Misty. You're thinking of anime!Ash and anime!Misty going that far, which then, I'd have trouble accepting too, but it's not them. Den Geki!Ash and Misty are far different from their anime couterparts.

The first few volumes were funny, but it gets darker later on. (If I recall correctly anyway) There's abuse and death in the Adventures manga... I think Viz stopped translating after volume 7...Or at least around there. They just suddenly dropped it. (Not that it matters too much, as I was never a big fan of Viz. )

Ok, the characters in Den Geki are... Well, let's start off with Ash. The first word that pops into mind when thinking of Den Geki!Ash would be... Pervert. He's extremely perverted. Worst than anime!Brock, though anime!Brock isn't actually perverted...He's just on a hormone overdrive. ^^;;
That aside, Den Geki!Ash is stubborn, but smarter than anime!Ash. He also seems more caring and protective.
On to Den Geki!Misty... She, uh, I wouldn't say she's too different from her anime counterpart, but there are slight differences. In Den Geki, she's more open, caring, and well, cares quite a bit for her looks. Of course, it's a lot more obvious (esp. in the last volume) that she's in love with Ash.
...Uh... I just realized that the descriptions don't really give you an idea of how everyone in Den Geki is... Maybe it's easier if you just ask me questions about them, and I'll try my best to answer them?

Yeah.. that definitely seems very much more likely. That would make it hard to imagine.. I could believe it in the manga.. not in the anime.
