Maybe they will make the next tin hold 5 DVDs again, and then the third tin would hold 4. Why 4? To hold the disc for the movie that we will all eventually own. That way you wouldn't have any stray DVDs for the series.

That would be nice, but I don't think they are going to do that. Especially when we don't even have a target US release date for the movie.

Yeah but it's going to come out eventually, so all they have to do is think ahead a little. And if they decide not to license the movie then they would only waste about a nickel's worth of metal.

I'm watching episode 8 the pilosoper's stone, and I just noticed that at the beginning of the episode when Roy and Riza are talking you can hear Ed continuously trying to transmute Nina's remains that are on the wall. I didn't notice this the first time I saw this episode and I just thought I'd make you all aware in case you didn't know.

Well, I get to pick up my shipped copy of Volume 2 today. It sucks that Canada gets the volumes 1 month after US. That's why I ordered mine, so at least I get it like... 10 days early.

That looks accurate. So if all goes well, we'll get the rest of the series on DVD in 2006.

Now I'm just judging on the way the show is being released up to volume 4 this year. And since the show is being released on 13 volumes, at least one DVD is going to have only 3 episodes. Right now I'm going to assume that will be the last one. If its a different one, which I don't think they will do, it will change the way I have the episodes arranged across the volumes entirely.

My hope is that they put the reflections special either with the movie as an extra feature or one of the other volumes. I think the best place for it would be volume 13, since that's the last disc and will probably only have 3 episodes instead of 4.

Yeah, hopefully they add a bunch of specials to the last volume if it has 3 episodes. I'd personally love to see an interview with the Japanese and English voice actors.
