1. Scar -I always preferred antiheroes to heroes, and Scar is the best antihero in the series, IMO
2. Anime Lust -Very tragic backstory, I love her personality and voice

5. Manga Fuhrer- an excellent fiendish archvillain
6. Envy -sociopathic transvestite..well actually male...but close
7. Izumi -Teacher is so funny and strong, a very interesting character
8. Al -cute kid, well developed character
9. Ed -his naievete in the beginning of the series is somewhat grating...still like him though
10. Hughes -How can you not like him?

Honourable mention goes to Riza Hawkeye, who almost made it into this list. Same with Ling and the Xing crew whom are all great characters in their own right.
