Its isn't giving too much of a storyline away, for all we know Ed and Al as they were may be flashbacks of a story not yet told. Thats what I figure at least.

It just has to be Al, as it looks like him if anything. We know he was going to train in alchemy again to find his brother. As I have mentioned, Ed suddenly stops wearing his red jacket. Perhaps Al found it and wears it in his brothers memory.

I agree, the person at the end of the trailer seem to look like Ed.
The one who behind, must be the armor suit of Al.

The person clapping his hands has transmutation circles on the palms of his gloves.... If this was Edward, he wouldn't need the circles. As we know, Alphonse's memories were taken as part of Equivalent Exchange for bringing him back, meaning that his memories of remembering the Gate were taken from him and he currently is not aware that he can perform alchemy without a transmutation circle.

This is definately Al at the end clapping his hands. His bangs are in the same position that his hair grows in (parted from the left of his head and swooping across his forehead), and his eye and hair color are of a dark blonde, unlike Edward's light blonde hair (and golden eyes). Alphonse is also shown in some movie posters/images where he looks just like this. There is no doubt that Alphonse is the one in the end of the trailer clapping his hands.

It is possible that "Real Al" recovers "Armor Al" from the gate (if they are seperate, it explains why "real al" has no memories of it or if not, then they might just be linked in some way still) or he maybe he makes his own Soul Bonded Armor or maybe its an automation to look like Al the way Al is dressed like Ed or maybe its a fake soul like Barry implied Armor Al was or I have ran out of ors for this really long run on sentence.

And like someone already mentioned, it is Al in the red coat, just look at the poster on the main page and see the circles there.

Ahh this is all very confusing... I hope that person isn't Al... but it obviously has to be... but if so who is that armour at the end? And ther eis also another scene showing 'look-a-like Ed' with an automail, which he transmutes... that definetly can't be Al? Ahhh we need more information on this movie, raise your hands if you agree!

Hmmm, wonder what happened to Wrath...? :DThe way the series ended left me with the impression we'd be seeing at least something about him in the movie. Could just be me though.

Movie-Rose would be wonderful. Seeing more familiar faces (i.e. Archer, Marcoh, Hughes, Gracia, Roy, Kimblee as normal human beings) would be awesome too. Roy and the rest of the Blue Guard squad as mechanics, running a garage - don't say you haven't once thought about that one.

The first time we see Armor Al in the trailer and the Ed with Automail are most likely flashbacks but looking closely at the trailer, the metal arm with Al at the end of the trailer is NOT Armor Al's arm.

Hmm, I wonder how that flashback stuff will be worked into the movie. Maybe it will start with that, just as a little look back at the series before moving on with the story. The advertisers are doing a pretty good job of teasing us with all these mixed up, mysterious clips. I love this feeling of anticipation!

Also, it's pretty clear at this point that the boy in the red coat in the trailer is Al. The postcards they are giving out (see the postcard thread) have clearer pictures, which they say (according to the translation in this page's news section) that the cards have pictures of Ed & Al, Ed, Al, Roy and Riza. The one with Ed & Al has movie-Ed and the boy in the red coat, so we can safely assume that it's Al. I kind of like how they have Al looking like Ed. Wasn't expecting that.

Now that you mention wrath... it got me thinking. You know that person we see Ed reaching out to with black hair? Everyone keeps saying it's Rose, but it could possibly be wrath aswell. Maybe, I hope it's wrath. Ed sure as hell won't be reaching out to any female that lovingly unless it's Winry! Or I will shoot the screen

The trailer looks great, I cant wait for the movie. Ed's new arm looks cool, it seems like it has some sort of motor function. Al does a good job of looking like Ed to. Envy looks mighty pissed. As for the girl Ed's holding his arm out to, not sure who that could be. It looks most like Rose. Though I have a gut feeling its not her, from what scans ive seen, Rose already has a pretty big role back in Amestris with Winry and Wrath. Not that I mind or anything, I like Rose. The scene near the end when Envy is in dragon form and being attacked by WWI area planes looks cool to. Im all around very excited about the movie.
