Why talk about 3 Cheers For Sweet Revenge when you can talk about something newer.You know,"The Black Parade" I think they rock allllllllllllllooooooooootttttt!!!!

Besides G's looks? if I compare it with now and before I prefer now,because he lost the heavy makeup and I remember how other MCR haters would say that he looks like Micheal Jackson.His emo look started the band so I guess its very new to say that he looks completely retarded,that effect is caused because your all used to his emo look,that's why...

Just because something is newer doesn't mean it's better than their old stuff. Many many bands get crappier as they progress through their careers. MCR is no exception, so I don't see how that's a valid point.

I haven't listened to a lot of them... but they sound like that typical boring band that everybody listens to these days.

probably not... their 3 cheers for sweet revenge album is their best, so try that... that CD is mostly catchy, but it's highly simplistic, so don't expect much.

MCR is pretty cool (I'm a sucker for guyliner). Plus, their songs are catchy and fun to listen to. I'm going to see them in concert in about a month (and Muse is opening, another cool band)!!

I once read a comment where in he doesn't like their album 3 Cheers For Sweet Revenge because there are only 12 soundtracks and the usual duration of one song is something like 3 minutes and 40 seconds,yes it's short really,that's why I prefer their newer album,besides in the Black Parade,Gerard loses heavy makeup...not like his old look,and other people tease and say that he looks like Micheal Jackson when he use to have long hair,weird huh? I have to say that if there are fans of this band there are haters normally,we all have to respect each other right?

Guess what. Longer/More tracks doesn't make an album good, or progressive *looks at Coheed and MCR*. Quality and good musicianship do. The difference is that Coheed actually has more unique and technical songs than MCR. Some of their music anyway.

I agree with you,most of their songs in their second album are short and there are only 12 soundtracks on the cd,which is kinda I dunno,different from their other 2 albums.I'm not saying they suck in the second album all I'm saying is that the duration could have been a bit longer with more songs,they rock! yes,all bands fade...We all know that...

Blind Guardian hasn't <__< Same with Iron Maiden, though their newer stuff ain't as good. Queen still lives on even though Freddy is dead D: so no... not all bands fade. Just the lame ones, or great ones that no one remembers because of bands like MCR.

Btw, some bands know when to stop producing songs because it is finished when it's finished. Bands know when to not overkill their CDs. Many great albums are 12 songs or less. Like I said Quality > Quantity.

I think you do know that MCR has to be one of my most adored bands, next only to Nickel Back...I like MCR more than Green Day and Simple Plan, actually...

So do I, Blingy. I like their second CD and some of their first. I agree. Green Day pretty much blows aside from a few songs, and I don't like Simple Plan at all.

They have some decent songs.

My favorite song by them is 'Teenagers'...such a good song to sing along to!!

I LOVE MCR. They're like my favorite band next to Greenday and The Bloodhound Gang.

My kid sister and her friends have discovered them and they'll be the best thing in the world....for about 3 months.

That's an insult, please don't be stereotypical of my favorite band, not all of their fans/nor do the band members themselves at all, cut their wrists. People go through troubles involving EMOTIONAL CONFLICT. Most people has had the experience. That kind of stuff involves their music, okay, whatever, but I still like it. Eat me.
