What instrumentation are you transposing from? If it's piano, this should be of help to you:



The treble markings in the figure above are actually a whole octave higher than what it's actually supposed to be (for ease of reading), so mind your octaves.

Envy-chan, I play the cello too! I can transpose for you, when I have time. Just tell me what songs you want. Meanwhile, see if this helps: the first note on a ledger line ABOVE the staff on the bass scale © is the same as the first note on a ledger line BELOW the staff on the treble scale. I'm sure you can count you way up from there!

But be careful though, if you're trying Bratja, be prepared to hit some really high thumb position. I know; I tried.

Well, i´m trying to laid out the "UNDO" opening music tab for eletric-guitar....
It´s kinda hard since i didn´t find anything to use on this music......
So i´m doing it by ear ..... which turned out to by a nightmare (i need a bass line and don´t know any bass-players who play anime music)

So if anyone already has it that would be awsome !! I have a student-workshop coming uo and i wanted to play a japanese-anime music to show people how good it is and brake the "anime is just kid stuff taboo"

For those want to play FMA songs on eletric-guitars whatch it ! Don´t use "Metal" guitars like i did ( ESP JACSON IBANEZ or Flying V´s ) Use a more simple captation guitar like a Fender Stratocaster.....
Or else you will be literaly playing FULL "METTAL" SONGS !!!

Well, I was reading the music from Ichigo.com and I started playing it on the cello (Used violin piece), it was really nice, but a little too deep, but if you bump it up an octave after you have converted it to bass it is quite easy, I'll try to add it the song somehow. I need to figure out how to record it, I'll probably post the music too sometime later, if I get enough free time....(It's going to be a while.) But being as a fellow cellist, I know how you feel having all this anime music completely out of your grasp if you can't convert the clefs, I just hope I can help you out.

First, you can find a lot of op and end from series on http://www.ultimate-guitar.com . But if there isn't that you looking for, you can try http://www.911tabs.com - this site is searching tabs from biggest tabs sites.
Sec, if you don't like from normal text tab, you can download free program PowerTab or buy (or download for 30 free trail) GuitarPro. They read they own files and plays tabs. For example, window from GuitarPro look like this: http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/9180/29253542.gif . You can edit song with normal tab or with notes. Also, both in PowerTab and GuitarPro you can import tabs from midi!
Playing some song by ear are not really hard. I played http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9qidJBlySr8 this and I still train the whole songs, but Melissa is goddammit little hard on rythm guitar parts.

Uh...guys "Brothers" is literally the same as "Solitude" if you google it you can find it.

I found a website with a bunch of Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood and original) sheet music. It's all in piano, but if you play a different instrument you could transcribe it or play it as is. That's what I did, anyway.

This has probably been posted before, but in case it hasn't, or it's somewhere in the depths of this thread, this site has a lot of good sheet music for tons of different anime. And if you go here, and then scroll down about halfway, that's where you can find all of their fullmetal alchemist sheet music. It's mostly for piano, but they also have some for flute, violin, and orchestra.

I shared "Brothers" with my daughter's orchestra teacher, and now we are looking for sheet music for "Brothers" arranged for orchestra. I found some with the full orchestra score, but I'm looking for one already broken down into parts for violins 1 and 2, viola, flute, etc. Anybody know where we can find it?

I can't believe I registered here just for one question but....

Does anybody here have the sheets for "One is all, all is one" or know the first notes in it? I discovered fma quite recently and after a read it I looked at random clips from the animes and I thought some of the songs were really nice, especially one is all and brothers. I've learned a bit of Brothers and found various sheets of it, but I just can't find OIA and I can't play by the ear (but if I know how to start it might be easier...)
I play flute but piano-sheets can do to.
