Whenever the two stand side-by-side, I can't help but noticing that Ed is less or as tall as Winry, which leads to my being unable to think of them as a cute couple.

Plus some of the fanarts are too racy for my taste.

Would you like it better if they made Ed taller in the fanarts and thereby being incorrect? And explain why its racy.. o_o

Gashole, would you rather the heights be incorrect and therefore ruin one of the funniest and series-wide jokes in teh series? About how Ed IS SHORT. Technically (nowadays) a guy under 5'8 is (at least to me) short. the 5'9 to 6'0 range in becoming the average now.

Funny, I can't help but notice Ed being taller or as tall as Winry in almost every fanart... The art's beautiful though...

Ed and Win oughta be together!! I don't remember the chapters but in some of them we can see someting indicating that!! Like Hughes saying that Win was Ed's girlfriend and that she'd make a good wife and Al's comments about those too!!! I hate to know that the anime cut it all!!

i totally agree that ed/winry is kind of cliche... i admit that there is a lot of chemistry between them, but it strikes me as pretty platonic chemistry, even in the manga. they're old friends, they're good friends...but i think if they ever got together, it would just be weird, and ruin their freindship. she does care a lot about him, but i don't think she would ever really want to be in an intimate relationship with him, yah? but i can see winry totally disapproving of any girl who DOES get close to ed, you know? she'd prolly chase them off saying they're not good enough for him.

al/winry is a cute idea, but winry doesn't seem the type to go for younger men. i know it's only a year, but even so, she has always struck me as one of those super-independant strong and self-sufficient women who isn't on the lookout for a boy...but when she falls for one, i see her with an older man. er...not like OLD old, but you know what i mean. al is a sweetheart, but i think that winry sees him like a brother... same with ed.

and ew, ed/rose is just wrong. he deserves soooo much better. she's so...fickle, if you ask me. first she's all, "oh cornello-sama is so great!" and then once he's gone, she i'll admit rose kinda needs someone...but surely not ed. ed needs a woman who's as strong as he is...someone who can truly stand on her own feet and support him...like how riza always backs up roy, no matter what. rose needs a babysitter...and ed's certainly not going to go for that.

on a different note, i think ross and broche are cute together... roy and riza rule, of course... but poor havoc, when is he gonna catch a break? T__T does anyone else think he would look awful cute with sheska?

i kind of think sheska and falman would be cute there are quite a few havoc/lanfan people here, but i haven't seen a shred of evidence for that and frankly i like ling/lanfan. but if no one wants havoc, i'll be happy to take him =)

Yes, I made a Lan Fan/Havoc banner It's one of my favorite crack pairings I think Havoc could be paired with many girls, because he needs one so much... Even if I'm a RR supporter, I like Riza/Havoc, too.

I totally and completely support EdwardxWinry , and there is more "chemisty" seen between them in the manga then an the anime. Come on, I know they're good friends, but even my best guy friends aren't comfortable walking around infront of me only in there boxers! He's more comforable around Winry then any other woman/girl. If I were Winry... I'd take advantage of the situation.

Like that one were Winry's got some kind of candy or something on her face, and Edward's trying to lick it off , the japanese words above say: Itadakimasu, which in english means "Bon appetit". Ninie, I think the reason people dislike Rose is because when she yelled at Ed for showing her the truth about Cornello, that was totally ungrateful and immature and very annoying. Then when she showed up later, she was just ... blank. o-o
Compared to all of the other female characters who are much cooler, she is just so weak and unimpressive. And she should NEVER be paired with Edward. That is wrong on levels I cannot even express.

and i agree, if Ed was concerned Winry would try and have her way with him, do you think he would be so content to not only walk around in his boxers with her in the room, but fall alseep with his stomach exposed like Al is always chiding him for? they have an amazing foundation of trust, and they know they've got the other's back, but it still just seems like it would put them in an awkward position to get together. they would do anything for one another, it seems...but i just can't see them hooking up on a romantic level without it being...weird.
