I like the concept of not only character hooking up but also reproducing and you are curious to see how Ed and Winry's child will look like and what traits there parents take. Comon, I'm sure they would wish a happier childhood than theirs for their offspring. Ed and Winry would make sure their child will grow up with both parents alive and well and being there for them. That's good to hear, there can never be enough of Edwin fanart. I don't get into shipping at all. Too much hassle and debate. I just go along with what the mangaka have in mine that is a logical step for the character. I'm more of the traditional fan who wants the badass hero(Ed) to get the cute pretty girl(Winry) who also happen to be a great character too. So I don't get too much detail or see other possiblities, Too many pointless augruments go on when people try to force the idea or say this character x character vs character x character. I just go for canon. it's much more simple that way and its easier to enjoy the series for me and not get into debates.. especially if it go into flame wars. I am against seeing the character do something that would go against how they are and protray in their original work. Just my personal view.

I like a little romance in my favorite series but I don't want it to be the focus of the whole thing. I'm happy with what Arkawa does and I glad Fullmetal is the way it is.

rzerox21xx, agree completely. Also, I personally don't see the attraction of shipping two random people who don't like each other, or even haven't met - if there's no chance of them ending up together, I don't want to know (but that's just me...I'm perfectly happy for other people to do whatever they please ).

Me too, that'd be great. As cliche as this is, It'd totally make my day if the Homunculi made good on their threat to Ed and actually, physically took Winry as a hostage, which would maaayyybe (OK, I'm treading into fanfic territory here ) lead to some sort of confession from Ed (don't ask me how, I'm having too much fun, haha). Fortunately, Arakawa is too good a writer to do that sorta thing...and there's no way Winry would go quietly.

Doesn't mean it's not fun to imagine though.

The formal ball scenes from prince of dawn with Edwin goodness, man I wish I can understand what they are saying. the first one I think Roy hit on Winry and she mention something about the age I think and he freaked out. thats the best I can do.

Finally, their love is starting. I would like to see Winry in the manga. But I think that we will see her soon.
She promised to Ed, that she will cook apple pie for him [xD] and they will meet again.
But knowing Hiromu Arakawa, probably something will happen ;o We can only wait ;D She wants to finish the manga in the spring, so I think this moment will be soon.. But we can't expect anything. I want to see them together at the end ;p
