This thread cracks me up. So I'm not the only one chronically addicted to forums...right now I should be doing the dishes, and making my hubby's lunch for work tomorrow.

What am I shirking?

I just realised my ironed clothes has been outside for almost 1 week now..

Giant piles of homework stacked in mi room.

That painting I keep telling myself I need to do.

I'd really like to get some work done on it, but I'm not too keen on having nosey family members pop their heads in on my unfinished work, particularly when it's rather dark, surreal, and somewhat meaningful although I don't have a firm grasp of the meaning myself yet. I'm not too fond of being judged for trying to make art that pushes conventions rather than just making 'nice' or 'pretty things all the time.

I mostly like doing nice pretty things; those are my favorite art subjects. That gets boring after a while, but then I get little odd stares and questions when my less-than-pure pieces are unearthed.
