Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shambala

The 2nd phase of pre-release ticket sales will start in Japan on the 26th of March (Saturday). This time, any ticket purchase will include a postcard set (view picture here). Stock is limited. Price of tickets: 1.300 yen for adults, 800 yen for children (below secondary education).

Note: The first phase included a swing holder set.

Hmmm... whether what's shown on the postcards are related to what the movie will show, I think we'd better give benefit of the doubt first~ ^^;

I mean.... who's the guy in Ed's red coat is also bothering me.. somehow I find it hard to think that's Ed himself. Looks more like Al...

I thought it was Al when I looked at it, perhaps he really is following in his brothers footsteps.

@@ so human Al-cosplayers should realllyyy wear red instead of blue? (lol, there are like green, white, even yellow... all sort of colors xD) ... for those that didn't watch the rest of hagaren yet/movie info would probably think all those Al-cosplayers are wannabe Ed-cosplayers xD

It looks as if All Al did was steal Edo's coat (The shirt is different than Edo's).... But it gives us a good idea that maybe they will be reunited (And if Al can use his hands to do Alchemy, does that mean he remembers all that happend and the gate itself O.O? *ponders*

Hmmm... you've gotta find that out for yourself... to my knowledge cinemas here don't exactly do online bookings for people overseas.... o_O

Yeah, all assumptions said here seem really well thought out so far. Pretty much when I saw those pics I thought the same thing. Al is becoming more and more like Ed, Roy and Riza are back in the military (because what else would they do?), Ed in his world still stuck, and Al getting ready to clap his hands must mean that he can do alchemy without an array. How did he get this power is a question that should be held off until we actually see him clap his hands together.

well i must agree that i too think the other guy is al. his hairstyle matches him although he's got long hair now but about him doing alchemy without an array - am i seeing things or does he have something blue and shining at the back of his hands? i have a request - is someone gets bigger pics please let us all know!!!

I think it looks like he has blue transmutation circles on the palms of his gloves (taking a cue from Kimbley?). Holy crap, this is so awesome!

Personally, I'm not quite fond of the Ed!Al at the moment. I liked Al because he was different from Ed, both in appearance and personality.

You know, I didn't even consider the possibility of Ed/Al until now. It would make sense as to why there appears to be the old red Ed instead of the new WWI other side of the Gate Ed. x_X; AAAAAAAAAA!!! This is SO puzzling! I wish they'd show the pics seperately!

Al has lighter hair and should have it kept short. From what I can tell from re-watching the preview though it seems to be Ed. Go back to the Japanese site and take a look, there's absolutely no mistaking it. Unless it was a flashback or...something...

I barely noticed Al had blue arrays on his hands. Also, Ed is his oldself in the latest preview trailer they had. I belive that is a flashback of some sort (hence the fact Al is also in armor). So yeah, Al studies alchemy deeply enough to where he draws arrays on his gloves and can transmute probably quite well. I'm thinking he's using the same array that he has always used. I have never seen him use any other array than the one that he uses which has a big triangle overlapping the circle with three little triangles in it. Maybe it's like the best array to use for whatever, so having two may just do much more better.

Eh, sorry hagane no tokage... I have no experience in IPMOs... and furthermore, have no idea on shipping charges... oo;;;;;

naaa i don't think so. because then military would suspect what's happened to the little brother. my opinion is that Al is following his brother's footsteps to find the way to open the gate and get him back. and resembling ed to that point would make it easier to find some useful clues to achieve that. but that's only a theory

Is there a possibility that the cards have nothing to do with the actual movie, and if so, that would really suck.

That's also what I'm thinking.... After all, BONES did shock the fans when they first said Paku Romi wasn't going to be dubbing Ed in the movie, which proved to be a joke later on...

Just out of curiosity, I've heard numerous people talking about fansubs in relation to the movie coming out this summer. I'm sorry if I sound dumb, but what are fansubs?

Fansubs are mostly anime that's subtitled by the fans, for the fans (not dubbed over in English, the Japanese is retained).

Thanks for the info, but for future reference, where does somebody go to get fansubs. And how long after they release a movie over there, do they usually take to release it over here? Sorry for all the questions.

Hmmm, I'll let other people answer that... I don't watch fansubs...

well basically you get fansubs from various pages (i don't know if i can put any addresses here so i won't for the time being ) or from kaaza. and as someone said sometime ago, usually fansubs are released after dvd coming out. and that would be around half a year after the premiere BUT!! if someone takes a camera into the cinema and records the show, it'll be release earlier

Forum rules (rightfully) dictate that we can't post fansub links here. Plus many of the sites that used to host FMA fansubs have taken the show off since it was licensed in America.

There are a few pages that still carry the episodes though, along with your usual file sharing networks. In nearly all cases you need to have bittorrent in order to recieve and decompress the files so you can view the show. Hope that helps.

Er no.... the tickets are sold in advance, 2nd phase starting March 26th.... the movie is to be released in summer... we don't have an exact date yet~

Aww Roy still has the eyepatch. Whoa, Al is an Edo wannab o_O damn he's cuter NOT looking like/pretending to be Edo(even has the long hair!) What would Edo say... Hope for the best I guess. I wonder if the movie will switch back and forth between the Elric kyoudai since those postcards seem to depict Al ready for action.

Well BONES did play a mean joke on the fans before (the one where they said Paku Romi wasn't doing Ed) so it's quite possible the the postcards could just be teasing us...

That is Ed in the background.The front represents befor he went over to the other side.

I can't say for sure until I get the postcards to confirm. The pictures off the official site are just too tiny.
