Yeaaah...so...what's gonna happen with Toph? I think those guys are gonna find her and Aang and everyone else'll have to fight 'em off. Hmm...that'll be interesting...

Wow, it's been a while since anyone visited here.
So yeah, we're to the season finale, and I'm still kinda disappointed with Zuko. You'd think he'd know better than to trust Azula. I mean, she's tried to kill him quite a few times and he kinda deserted the only person that's really been there for him. Not to mention that my hopes for Katara/Zuko are pretty much dashed, and I'm getting the feeling that Katara/Aang might be the pair that ends up together. I would love to see Toph in there. QUOTE(Toby-Chan @ Dec 1 2006, 10:10 PM)

You'd think the creators actually want people to slash Iroh and Zuko... srsly. o.O (On a similar note, Iroh's voice actor sucks.)
You know, I probably wouldn't be surprised if a IroZuk fanfic did surface somewhere. I miss the old VA for Iroh. He was really good. The new one isn't that bad, but he's definately not as good as the original.
EDIT: Sorry, I forgot some people missed the season finale!

I finally caught up with what I missed, and saw the finale this morning!
Gaah, I really hope Zuko's just planning to infiltrate the Fire Nation side, because seriously, he can't be that stupid, can he?? Then again, Iroh did accuse him (quite rightfully so) that he never thinks ahead. On the other hand, maybe he did think it through this time, and is waiting for a chance to betray Azula? (Not that she wouldn't be expecting it.) Gah! I don't know. I'm still going to hold onto Zuko/Katara, because like Rainy, I want Toph/Aang.

The art turned me off a lot. It looked like another wannabe anime but after I decided to give the show a chance, I found out the story was actually very well thought out and it was more cohesive than even some animes. Plus it's not like most american cartoons where the story doesn't go anywhere. They're actually building up to a point. Plus all the animation is very fluid especially during fight scenes.

Ohh man just to let everyone know there's still no news of avatar season 3. Well hopefully it'll be out later this year. I cant wait though, its just the fact that the season finale left so many questions, & its taking a long time to get answers. Ohh man i cant wait for the new season.
BUMP, BUMP BUMMMMMMMMMMMMP!!! Sorry for the double post but i had to get this back to people's attention. Avatar Book 3 Fire starts on September 21st. Make sure you keep your schedule open so you can catch it. On avatarspirit.net you can also watch the 3 minute long Promo for the new Book. Its High Quality, & the animation it self looks just as good as always.

I saw ~7-8 episodes with my brother. The series was decent and enjoyable to watch.
I'll stick it on my ever-growing "Things to watch list"

You know, the movie just can't go wrong for the show as a whole (imagine me saying it in a matter-of-fact tone). If it turns out to be a bad adaptation...well, the TV show has already made fun of it by way of the episode "The Ember Island Players." Of course, it would be great if the movie turns out well, but I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't. (I'd imagine it would actually make "The Ember Island Players" that much funnier.)

I found...
Fma Reference In Avatar The Last Airbender:
You remember in episode 22 when Ed steps into the red liquid and becomes super powerful, The officer who was assigned to protect Ed, ran to him, with a solemn look, and stopped him, hugged him, and the shot went from the solemn officer's expression, to Ed's sad nearly-passed-out exhausted expression.
Well I was watching Avatar the other day, episode 11, season 2 "The Desert"

The scene from the desert, when Aang's loosing control of himself in the avatar state, Katara, runs to him with a solemn look on her face, stopped him, and hugged him, the shot then shifts to Katara's solemn expression, to Aang's sad nearly-passed-out exhausted expression.
It's just like episode 22! only it's with Aang and Katara rather then Ed and The officer! O.O

This sound interesting. ^^ But.... this is not the correct forum for this discussion thread, so... let's see, what's the best way to go...
I'm going to add your post to existing
Avatar, Airbender discussion thread, and you can continue this discussion there.

And...it's done. Thread merged.

Well it is quite good . To think that in the Philippines it is already repeated at almost a zillion times. Worse, they haven't even got the final ep. At least it is available in the net right?

I just hope, once the movie is done, they'll continue the animated project. It was just one of those shows that held great possibilities post-main-boss. Do I fear say... Zuko was becoming the lead character?
Side-Note: "Planet Hulk" was released recently on DVD, and when they show the "Red Prince" for the first time, I couldn't help but burst out in laughter. He was drawn exactly like Aang durring the first season of Avatar... just red. XD

The Last Airbender premiered in Sweden this week and I read a short review in a newspaper. It said that to be able to enjoy the movie, you had to either bring a manual or be twelve years old. The reviewer also said (I'm going from memory here...) "If your son or daughter loved the series, he/she will love the movie."...!!

I tried my hardest not to laugh out loud on the train!! Seriously WTH, did not do his research! I haven't seen the movie, but the hate,
the hate!Anyway, I thought it was funny...
