Les Miserables. The music is awesome, and I love the story... I love that period of history.

That one is a timeless classic!! Those songs never seems to get old in me!!

Les Miserables is quite possibly the best play to ever be adapted from a book. Granted, it's all singing...so i wonder if it's really like...and operetta, or something . Either way, I saw it twice and wouldnt regret seeing it again.

That being said, Phantom was good too....but I think it's been overdone, what with the movie and all. I would want them to take it off broadway...but...then there would be nothing left worth watching though i did hear that Wicked was good

I didn't care for the Phantom movie... bleh... after you've had the opportunity to see something on Broadway, anything else is just... well, lame...

Seen Nabuco which is technicaly an opera some things were done that made no sence I wasent the only one who thought that.

I like musicals, the only one that I can't stand *dodges rotten tomatoes* is Annie, simply because it is way overdone...and it's our school musical/play this year (we have a new director and it's awful). I'd really like to see Les Miserables, everyone I know says it's great.

The most recent one I have seen was last October for my 17th birthday, The Producers.

My other favorites are Spamalot, The Phantom of the Opera, and RENT.

Musicals are great, although I'm sad to say the only one I've seen live is Into the Woods. D: (wait, does Lion King count? I saw that too...) I have music from others on my Ipod that people introduced to me; Avenue Q (<3), Jekyll and Hyde...etc. It's like some kind of tantalizing tease: I love the music from Avenue Q and these others so much yet I. CAN'T. SEE. THEM. T_T
And anytime something great like Phantom of the Opera comes to the city I live near, it sells out 3 months before it plays! D< And damn, my friend got to go see it!!!

Damn living in a small town. I swear when I move to the city I'll go whenever I can.

Ah!!!!!!!! Musicals are the best!!!!!!! My favorite is R|E|N|T. The only musical I've actually seen live though is Wicked. It was amazing. I also like Ave. Q, Phantom de le Opera, Moulin Rouge, and alot of others.
