Some of the pics may be a little blurry since they were switching slides when I took the screen shot. But they are pictures of Maui at the Grand wailea hotel. its a great place, if you ever want to go to Maui, go to grandwailea.com Its a great hotel, but a bit expensive.

Decided to go back to nature for a while.
It reminds me of the 15 or so Yoshino cherries on my university's campus. They're around 65 years old and nearing the end of their lives, so it's a bit of a remembrance for them. They were saved from bulldozers around 50 years ago, as they were in the way of highway construction. Some have died already and had to be replaced with 3 year old saplings. It's romantic in a saddening sort of way. I can understand why the Japanese love them so much. They were all blooming a few weeks ago.

Below is my desktop for my laptop. I was starting to grow weary of all my anime/manga wallpapers. So, here it is, Christmas in England!

My current one. It's got a nice feel to it.

Fear the awesome glory that is known as the Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron Linux operating system (that crushes Windows Vista).

God damn, it's a computer OS, nothing more, nothing less. It's shameful that people take this crap so seriously. Windows does what it has to for some folks, Mac does what it will for some folks and the rest sit there happily doing their jobs for everyone else. Different stokes for different folks.
I'd understand if Vista punched you in the face every time you booted up where Ubuntu made you happy with it's mouth but nothing like that happens.

From my experiences, Vista isn't all that great. My brother has it, and he's been having serious problems with it. Same goes for some of the newer computers at my school. =/ I'm going to stick with good ol' XP Home.
