hmm it's a schame use of the [img] tags isn't much of a succes since the desktops are too big view at once

btw. my images are resised to 800*600, I use 1024*768

If you don't know how to make a screen:

in windows:
press Printscreen || start ---> programs ----> paint ----> Ctrl + V ----> save as .jpg

in FreeBSD/Linux/UNIX
open an console and type : xwd -root >screenshot.ppm || Open the file with XPaint, save as .jpg

i use windows 98 SE and i got the normal green background, cause i got too lazy too actualize a good anime background picture...

before, i had somethin like SailorJupiter(SM), Trunks(DBZ), Cloud(FF7), or ZETSUAI - BRONZE...

sry... I don't know how to get it up on the web... :S

I saw this wallpaper @ this site, and I realy liked it, and a few days ago I decided to remove my "The O.C." wallpaper and thouht this would be a realy fine replacment for it

Your's is realy cool too, althouh you do indeed have a lot of icons on your desktop ( probably also because you have your installer files and other stuff on your desktop )

Anywayz, I've got my wallpaper from this site. The one of Edward snoozing at his desk with the caption Sleeping Beauty just off to the left of him. Ed's just too cute like that! As for the other three: one's from RG Veda, the other's from WISH and the third's another one from this site (collage of FMA manga images)

O.o Wow, Kase, I'm using the Sleeping Beauty desktop too (At least, temporarily until my friend finishes a desktop for me -- Lust, Envy, Magatsu and Kagehisa (Blade of the Immortal), Gackt, Mana, and Klaha collage thing made in photoshop to look natural and pretty)

Is anyone into desktop modding, I read an article about it in PC Format, but I'd be really interested if someone had made one or something.

I tried to play NS, but it wouldn't work for some reason. I'm a DoD fan.

Oh great, I started a discussion about Steam...
Anyways, the reason why Natural Selection doesn't work is probably because you've never run the original Half-Life. Unlike Counter-Strike or Day of Defeat, NS is a direct mod, not a retail port. You have to run the original Half-Life once to create the neccesary folders, and then reinstall NS.

NS is a really good game, but it is hard to find a nice, low-latency server with people. Most servers I find are idiots who won't heal/repair the hive/command center or fools who go around getting themselves killed and giving free experiance. I got heavy armor and heavy machine gun in five minutes because of so many idiots who'd run into my shotgun...

Anyways, i'm mainly a CS/CZ player. CS: Source BETA comes out tonight. [rubs hands] Can't wait. ^.^

Before we get anymore off-topic, we should create a new thread for this and let people look at desktops.

Bah. I'm not a fan of CS.
