Um...this is kind of a thought...I was thinking that maybe we should have slightly stricter policies for the Guests on this forum or something...like, requiring them to at least include their e-mail address or something? ...because it kind of seems that a lot of times they tend to blab spoilers without spoiler tags or flame something unreasonable...|| (Note: no anger/harm is meant to be directed at the above Guest-san...)

Sith lord Revan 64-san...seems to have rather poor spelling/proofreading skills so far...almost all of his 12 posts so far have some sort of spelling error in them...Also, he has created two topics that are unnecessary...the 'Favorite Manga' thread (which has already been closed, presumably by Quistis-san ), and a Naruto Manga thread in the manga section (I observed that there was already a 6-7 page long Naruto thread on the first page at the time...)...so...

Excellent message, EKE. I am surprised that I haven't banned him/her yet. Also, I've taken care of the reported threads. And no, I don't need a vacation. I think I just need to explode every once in a while.

Some of your are probably wondering why I even created this GPS in the first place since the REPORT button already exists. I do not know this for sure, but my theory is that every time someone uses the REPORT button (whether they're reporting or not), a warning PM regarding the reported post/thread is sent to every member of the FMA Forum staff.

Since they're not here all that often (so it seems), their PM inboxes could pile up with these reports, most of which have already been fixed (likely by me, since I try to solve a problem right when I receive the report), and it is probably quite frustrating for them to log in to find all these report PMs. So, to lessen everyone else's frustration regarding those PMs (assuming my theory is indeed correct), this GPS came about. Even if my theory is not correct, I believe that this thread can be of great use.

The problem is that people do not bother to learn how their User Control Panel (User CP) works. I am really starting to think that it should become mandatory that they read "A Beginner's Guide to Forum Decorum", as things like avatars and signatures are explained there (and should be written in a way that displays no ambiguity about anything).

Personally, I really like the attachment feature (and it helps with the "Karaoke!" thread immensely), but now that it is available to everyone, it has become troublesome at best. Either everyone loses the attachment ability, or we keep it this way. The concern here is that I do not want the attachment feature taken away because of idiots who abuse it. If possible, perhaps we can give the attachment privilege to only those who abide by forum rules consistently, or perhaps only after a member has been registered for some months.

@Quistis: I agree. I would like to keep the feature. Maybe if you commit the offense too many times the privellige will be taken away. It really is only a few people too. The new breed of nOObs are quite irritating >_< Maybe there should be one of those polls, like the one Bryan did. Or perhaps, you can give it to people who request to be able to use the feature. If someone who requests the feature is a previous offender you can turn them down.

The new breed of n00bs is cracking all of our backs. Well I like the attachement just incase I want to show something and I want to hear the singers on the forum sing. Maybe there should be a limit a day how many times you use it?

Maybe there should be an option for Moddies to give people forum suspension for a day or more. Just a suggestion.

Well...now that I think of it, I haven't sent the actual PM...it was very nice stress relief posting it here, though. And I haven't actually done anything so far besides wave my foil around threateningly I believe...although I'll probably drop my mellow Soujirou imitation if any bad language emerges~

Hm...well, at the very least, Tamago-san is actually improving his/her behavior a little...although it's going rather slowly. I think your screaming speech has produced a cure for the capital letters (or at least a temporary one- we shall continue to observe~) Heh, all people have the reserved right to explode just once in a while if they have such a stressful position like Quistis-san.

Indeed, I believe our Karaoke thread would crumble almost immediately if we were to lose the attachment feature.

As for the daily limit proposed by Coffee-san, I personally don't think we should have a daily limit, since we already have to split our karaoke files into multiple parts...and as it seems that there is a limit to individual file sizes (2.0MB, I believe), the attachment probably won't go overboard too much. However, I agree that we should probably bar newbies from being allowed to attach for a little while. Maybe we could make the attachment feature available to new users only after a certain number of days (like 10 days-ish) have passed after they read the Beginner's Guide to Forum Decorum or something?

If we made a sticky about it perhaps it would lower the rate of n00bs who make threads on the last ep.

Well anyway....I'm not exactly fluent in spanish. But I can use most of the swear words quite well. In fact I used to cuss at my teachers in spanish all the time in middle school....well atleast untill they caught on during my 8th grade year.

No worries, I haven't really found any of those either. Then again, I don't browse around in the trouble sections much, which I really should, but I have enough frustration dealing with the General Discussion Forums.

Yep, I just have a tendency to visit General Anime, Manga, Game, and Music threads just to see if any discussions about series I like have popped up...I usually also investigate the suspiciously-titled threads while I'm at it... And since I'm now an official member of the GP, I kind of feel like I *should* be trying to help control spam, so I randomly visit catagories I almost never visit normally, like the Hagaren Manga, Game and Fanwork Threads...

Deshi-san, don't think so lowly of yourself just because you haven't been scouring the forums. Maintaining that laser-accuracy with the machine gun is tough work!

This thread was made by a complete newbie (only one post as of currently) asking where to buy the official US releases of anime/manga. One reply has been made stating that the manga has not been released in English yet (thus answering the question). I'm sure such a thread probably already exists in both the Hagaren Manga and Anime threads, so this one should be closed.
