Chapter 61 is a very good chapter. Not only it marked the end of the military flashbacks, the Royai good-ness (its angsty) in it was extremely bold.. I <3 what's written in Nil-chan's spoiler..

@Roy Jr. :Go read the manga if you want some good Royai moments. There's lots of goodness in there that give so many more hints to how the two obviously belong together.

@Paca: I don't think Serim could be Pride. from the shadow we saw, Pride looks a lot taller, and maybe more sophisticated... you never know. I think what he meant about Serim not being his weak point was that he frankly doesn't give a crap about the kid.

Riza's dad being Pride? I don't think it's possible, unless it turns out he's really not dead, since, unlike the anime, you can't make Homunculus out of dead people. Failed human transmutations just end up being... not human, and they die. ANd theres' still the question on whether or not homunculus can reproduce...

Yeah, I'm wondering if Ling or Bradley can reproduce.

Humonculus reproduce? I doubt so.. A freak would be born and people would avoid it Created humonculuses such as Lust, Gluttony and Envy would never be able to I guess because their bodies are not human-based. Special humonculuses such as King Bradley and Ling may be able to since their bodies are based of human-body which should be able to produce sex cells for reproduction while sexual intercourse.. I'm applying what I've learnt from biology, lmao..

@MelRiza: Homunculus aren't made from dead people, Wrath was made by injecting the stone into Bradley's living blood, so the skeleton thing doesn't work. Also, it says in the manga that Serim was addopted.
I do agree that Bradley and Ling may be able to reproduce, since really their just human bodies being used by homunculus...

Well, i assume that Roy has a family... i guess we just havent met them. Arakawa-sensei likes to leave character background to a minimum so that she can develope them as the story goes on... so that's probably why she hasn't given any information on the matter.

About pride stuff:
