when I had time I made some drews. I used microsoft Paint, and I don`t get along with that program.

Hi everyone! *waves* Wow, I'm surprised that this topic alone got 439 pages!

I'm kinda new to FMA but it's already obvious (for me) that Roy and Riza are meant to be together. ^^

Btw, I know this is a stupid question, but I can't find the answer anywhere--why is it Royai? I can't get the 'ai' part.

I saw your post on "Royai Poll" thread, and hoping you'd drop by. I'm glad you did!!

Ok, Ai in Royai is coming from Japanese Romaji spelling of Hawkeye, "Houkuai"

So, why it's not Roiai as in making both Roy and Hawkeye in Japanese Romaji spelling??
Or, not Royeye, as in making both Roy and Hawkeye in English spelling??
Or, for that matter, why Roy as Mustang's first name, but using Hawkeye, not Riza??

I don't know.

I guess we could use any of those, but somehow Royai got stuck, and by now many people, including myself, are so used to it, that Royai sounds so natural!!

One thing for me, is that Royai sounds/looks more romantic than Royeye, because it happens that "ai" means "love" in Japanese, and I kind of like it for that reason also.

That PhotoBucket URL with awsome Royai pic collection is that of Tunade-chan's PERSONAL Royai and other pic collection, on her personal PhotoBucket album account, which Tunade-chan kindly opened for us to view.
I should stress that that URL address is a PERSONAL ALBUM, and NOT public domain.
We can view those awsome Royai pics in that album, because of Tunade-chan's generousity to let us peek into her personal album.

As such, I think we shouldn't give out the link, UNLESS Tunade-chan says it's ok, and, even then, I think we should properly credit that it is Tunade-chan's personal album.

That also means, unless Tsunade-chan says it's ok, we should NEVER hotlink to any of the pics in that address. I think, if we want to use any of the pics there, we should ask Tsunade-chan first, (unless Tsunade-chan gives us some blanket permission) and then, the proper way to use it is to SAVE the pic to your computer, and then upload it to YOUR OWN image-hosting album/account, etc., then use THAT URL, not URL of Tsunade-chan's Photobucket album.
Unless Tsunade-chan says it's ok, please do NOT direct link to that PhotoBucket URL, such as using the URL of any of the pics there as your sig pic or avatar pic URL.

And, here is why...
Evertime you or someone do HOTLINKING to any of Tsunade-chan's pic in that album, you or someone is CONSUMING bandwidth that are allocated from PhotoBucket to Tsunade-chan's personal photo album. That is, sort of like, similar to using someone's cell-phone's "free" minutes.
In general, unless given permission to do so by the account holder, HOTLINKING is a very bad NET manner, IMO, if not downright STEALING of bandwidth, if doing it without persmissions of the accountholder.
Hence, when you give out that Tsunade-chan's PhotoBucket URL, please also stress NOT to direct link any of the pics in that album, to the person your are giving out the link to.

(Unless, of caurse, Tsunade-chan says it's ok.

And, please don't forget to give proper credit also!!

Its Roy with SPIKY-HAIR!!! I know this don't really look like him, this 'Roy' totally different from the original Roy.. I really don't know what you'll say about this, I love the new hair but it doesn't look like Roy.. My mommy (ex-classmate mommy) said the face looks like the original's, which I hope it does to you all.. BTW, I was drawing @ the back of a survey form so the picture may be kinda dark.. sorry for the inconvenience..

EDIT : I can't make Roy's hair too short, so I added some "hair" aat the back after making the front/top part shorter.. Or else he'll look funny.. This artpiece of mine, is just uber-weird!! Surprisingly I managed to do it in about less than an hour..

What sucks is that Royai Day is on the day before I go to an orientation at a Univ. @_@. ...gives me about 5 days to do something, yay~ lol.

hmm 2 days before Metro and I'm conflicting over if I should cosplay eyepatchy Roy or not lol. What do you guys think?

depends on.
If you believe that the rest of the costume is good enough without the eyepatch, then don't. But if you want to go with the reality of things, than you should go with the eyepatch.
Also, think about it in an arbitrary fashion. If you can mange look out of one eye all day, then you should go with the reality of things, if you can't look out of one eye all day, then screw the eyepatch.

You should look at the quality of the eyepatch too. If it proves to be real enough, then you should wear it, if not, then maybe you shouldn't

In the end, do what you want to do, because only you know what you want.
Does that make sense?

@ Azura - I shouldn't go with the eyepatch if I were you. I really don't like that thing. It's so big! And I think it's very uncomfortable to be watching with one eye all the time. After a while I think you'll take it off anyway. But it's your choice ^^

Why doesn't he just have an eyepatch like king bradley anyway? Would've looked cooler. Roy-pirate style XD

She's so pretty!" xP Then I told her it was the lady who shot Archer, and she was like,"Really? O__o Let's watch it again!"

" None of them would know, and then they would need me to explaine what Royai is, then a few of them would need me to explain what FMA is...so it wouldn't be worth it

@Azura Elric - I vote for no eye-patch!! Because, not everyone watched the FMA movie yet.
And, because I like Roy with both eyes!!
