That picture is from Hagaren Novel 1. I recently read it, and the story of the "13th Warehouse" is even more hilarious in the novel than the anime. Unlike the anime, Roy was actually afraid. XD

Speaking of the novel, I am currently reading Novel 2, and picked up on a little bit of Royai in there.

Roy: I don't want to pick up a weapon because of revenge... (Roy looks at his hands)
Riza (in a quiet voice): ...Yeah (Hawkeye also looks at her hands on the steering wheel)
When she first picked up a gun, she had struggled mentally. But Hawkeye chose the path on her own.
Riza: ...These may just be pretty words, but compared to a gun used to take away something, I'd rather have a gun that is used to protect....
Roy looked at the side of Hawkeye's face for a moment, then turned back ahead.
Roy: ...Let's go
Riza: Yes sir.
And Hawkeye stepped harder on the gas pedal.

I know this is only Makoto Inoue's (author of the novel) take on Roy and Riza, but the novel is still official, ne?

LMAO, that's so hilarious! Actually, how he manipulates oxygen like that in the omake would be how he'd do it to make flames too.

Since pure oxygen is super flammible, his alchemy consists of removing the nitrogen in the atmosphere around the area where he wants to make a flame (in front of the glove for whatever distance) and with a snap, makes a spark which ignites the air. It's the exact same as if he were igniting natural gas, only with more fire and less explosion, since pure oxygen is that flammible. x_x;

these were scanned and posted by Murasaki... but look at the last yonkoma (farthest right) with Roy, Havoc and riza! Whaaaa! While Roy thinks of Riza, Havoc thinks of --- Catherine Armstrong!!! Is this another royai moment?!?! Is it suggesting that Roy actually "likes" Riza the same way Havoc likes Catherine?! SOMEONE PLEASE TRANSLATE IT!

But I really wish i could read Japanese fluently...

I can't read japanese XPP but I can read a little bit of chinese and sometimes japanese words sorta looks like chinese words, so i think riza mentions something about the rain...XPP

The general storyline is the same, with Falman and Fury hearing "strange" noises and freaking out.
[SPOILER]
The differences in the novel is that Fury was absolutely terrified. And Roy and co. are going to investigate mostly because they pitied Fury. So, at 1:00am, they go to the warehouses. Havoc, originally in front of everyone, pushes Roy to take the lead saying "Subordinates aren't supposed to be in front of their superiors."
Roy wasn't all too happy about that.

Anyway, everyone practically clings onto Roy as the make their way to the "13th warehouse."
After being terrified for a little while, everyone realizes that they have hit the bottom of their fears, and therefore relaxes a bit. (Roy thinks to himself about how there are no boundaries to fear, but shoves the thought aside. The proves that Roy, himself, is quite anxious about this whole thing.)
Falman starts telling ghost stories at this point, hoping to get out of their fears. (How does telling ghost stories help people become less scared?)

Then, like in the anime, Roy notices a few bones beside the 12th warehouse. But Roy does not stay logical like they way he did in the anime. He starts believing that this ghost does exist and is trying to find its bones.

The next day, Roy spends 100,000 cenz on different flowers hoping the ghost would rest in peace. (this has something to do with Falman's ghost story about a ghost haunting her husband because her husband never bought her the right flowers after death)

Everything was kept from Hawkeye, because he didn't want to be yelled at by her.

And the novel ends with everyone finding out it was Hayate who buried those bones, and that Roy had wasted 100,000 cenz. Roy wants his subordinates to pay him back, but even after weeks, not a single cenz was given to him.

And that's where it ends.

That's the general overview of what happened.

By the way, I really suggest everyone to get the second novel when it is released by VIZ. The ending was so royai!
There's a part where Roy pulls Riza behind him, in an attempt to protect her (but Ed comes to the rescue.) Riza later thanks Roy for protecting her (or attempting to)... *was killed by that scene*
That scene made me love royai more than I already do... If that's possible. XD
