A Pierrot's Aria--Wait, we're calm? Where were you during chapters... oh... 94 through present? Every month was a veritable emotional rollercoaster! Perhaps we weren't incredibly vocal about it on other threads (trying not to be annoying), but if you look at what went on here... Oh my goodness, it was BAD sometimes!
I dunno. We usually are pretty calm most of the time, but Broken Chouchou, if the next chapter is intense in any way involving Roy and/or Riza, well, you have been forewarned. That said, please do stick around! Even if we have the occasional OMGfest, we do treat people nicely.

^Haha! That's what I meant by "they have their moments." And also by "calm" I wasn't really referring to the way people were going "OMG!" and stuff when all the Royai stuff happened, I was just talking about the way they interact with each other. On other forums of other fandoms I'm into, people aren't as kind to each other. xD In fact, I think this is one of the kindest and calmest forums I --personally-- have ever come across, and I like it. : )

^Same with me. xD This is the first ever forum in YEARS that I've actually made it passed the 100 post mark because other boards can get way too hostile at something so trivial! xD It's never happened to me personally, but seeing it happen to other people was enough to make me leave.
...And I agree, that sort of behaviour is expected of DeviantART and Youtube. That's why I left the former and have never bothered to join the latter. xD

I'm getting mixed responses! D'= I might post here once in a while, but I don't think I'm brave enough to stay during "new chapter" times XD Anyway, I'm not that much of a fan, I just got slightly grazed by the Royai love

It's weird... I'm not really into any pairing, I'm generally neutral to this kinda stuff, regardless the anime. But after rewatching some of FMA1, and CoS yesterday, I actually feel I'm beginning to like Royai. Their relationship is so subtle, everything is said in actions rather than words. Nah, as I don't really think there's anything wrong in liking a pairing - so long as it's not OMG! SUPER-OBVIOUS, OVER-THE-TOP. I like my pairing subtle and natural, never forced. And for Royai, it's very subtle as it's definitely clear that these two have a long history together and when they communicate, they say more with their movements than they do with words.
Also, you get past the 'squeeing' during certain moments whenever a new chapter's released or a moment in the anime or game gets attention... Personally I find it funny, as the reactions to when I posted the cover for Brotherhood Vol. 6 were amusing though I'm glad that people enjoyed it.

That's because someone has to keep up with my occasional squeeing
Reacting to any moment is half the fun for me. I'm a not-so-closet romantic, but most of the time, I try to keep it in check. But when it's Royai, all bets are off. I'm also with Kale on this one--it's fun to look back and see what I said in the heat of the moment, as it were.
Really, though, as has been said, we're not as bad as we could be. The hype usually subsides after we know definitively what's going on.

Yes, we are very calm and serious nost of the time. When was the last time I behaved insane? Probably somewhere around chapter 101, looking like this

For me, my Royai fangirlling depends on who I am with. Most of the time I try to keep it in check, but if anything even bigger happens to them, I am promising nothing. Of course my brother would claim that I am an insane Royai fangirl.

I'd say that Royai fans (and FMA fans in general) are a little more low-key because this fandom isn't as "active" as, say, Naruto or Bleach. I mean, this is probably the first website I've ever come across that had more than one or two nice Royai fans - usually I can't find any at all!

But I'm glad that this forum is full of nice fans who can actually hold a conversation about our favorite topics. I've seen some forums where people will start posting nonsense and get off topic in a terrible way (almost immediately after the first post, mind you)... the mods on those forums were on vacation or something. @_@ I'm really glad this place isn't like that.

I think the reason Royai fans aren't as... uhh, animalistic... is because, well, half the time we're practically on tenterhooks waiting for the next chapter, to see if there's any Royai... and then theres the fact that Royai moments are veeery subtle, so its almost like we need to b still and silent to catch them out o.o
Plus, its not a teenage lust-romance-lovey-dovey-thing, its more /real/ ...meh, I dunno how to explain things coherently.

Yeah, this is pretty much the only series that I bother with pairings for as well... I feel like the relationships are a lot better-written and demonstrated in FMA than in a lot of other series. Can't really find the right word for what I mean.

Ah, I love Royai.....I literally just spent HOURS the other day reading nothing but it. XDXD I love how the relationships in FMA are more real than say....Twilight. (Don't bash me please) I mean, this series can potray the conflicts in a relationship as well as the sweet romance without it being over-dramatic. XD Long live Royai! XDXDXD

After reading new RAW... Do you think Riza is alive? Roy looks fine, but we don't see her. Or I'm blind. Geez... It turned so bad, I mean Father. Looking at Gracia and Elysia made me cry 
She was inside the radius of the black sphere when it grew, so it's possible... I sort of doubt it though, to be honest. But I also highly doubt that what happened was permanent.
^That's what I'm hoping, too. (Though for some reason, I'm actually more worried about Roy at this point.) And I really, honestly think that Arakawa wouldn't have started things out to have them end as utterly hopeless as they seem now. Maybe things won't turn out the way we'd like, but, even as crazy-intense as these chapters are getting, it's actually gotten easier to wait and see what's going on without making too many predictions.

This is what I think too.... But I actually do think that she's still alive. I mean, the manga won't end with everyone in Amestris dead, but at the same time, I think that the fact that she was in that sphere saved her even for the time being. Even if she is dead at this point (which is also likely.... I don't really know) she'll probably be okay in the end. Mostly I'm still sort of.... shocked after the RAW. Even though Riza vanished into the void like that, I too am a bit more worried about Roy. Once again he was absolutely helpless when all of this was happening. He's far too vulnerable, yet he's stuck in the middle of all this. That just sucks. XD

I think Riza is dead. Or at least her soul is in Father. If her body was in this ball, which dissapreared... They can take her soul into a coca cola can T^T' If they can do something, I doubt it. Maybe from inside Father she can see Roy o_O

I think riza is still alive, since she was in the black ball thing, mei seems to be allright, and also I think scar has an important roll left to play, so if he's still got his soul than riza should have too since they were both engulfed by the black ball. And i felt really sorry for poor roy this chapter ;___; he couldnt do anythin, i wonder if he will get his eyesight back? Anyway, yeh, riza needs to go tend to him! XD
I refuse to belive that Riza is death too, and I always think that she will be one of the survivors and that she is going to have some role in there, Then Why Roy bring her with him... ?(more than the obvius matter of love, protect, need her) and well like scar had to do something because...He is in there for something.

You know, out of all of people that are panicking... I'm one of the few that's kept quite calm about this... maybe it's because I was kinda of expecting it, coming from a calm 103.
I'm pretty positive all will be OK, especially for Roy and Riza

Uhm well, her body certainly isn't decayed or anything... And I'm guessing she's in the same place she was before, but by being in the same vicinity as Father etc, and being engulfed by the black mass thing, it would allow her (and her body) to 'live' and stuff.
