uh.. *shakes head* Anyway, returning to the lemon topic from a page or so back--I'm thinking about trying my hand at something cirtus-y...but obviously I'm writing it mostly for your guys' enjoyment. XD So I'd like a teeny bit of input; first off being the rating. The only other lemon I've ever written was pretty tame, probably PG-15 or so. Shall I go that route again or would you guys rather see something more, um...unfit for children? ^^; Either one would be an interesting challenge for me. However, I think my "tasteful" writing is far better.

Also, it won't kill anyone if I add a angsty trace of a plot, will it? I have something in mind. XD

Or, if everyone's completely uninterested, tell me so and I won't waste my time.

but anyway, i love it. i love how it goes through the subtleties of roy and riza's relationship and shows how love doesn't necessarily have to be so blatantly love. i liked the OC lady and of course we knew roy wasn't gonna fall for her, not when he has hawkeye but yeah, i loved it. the fandom needs more high-quality fanfics like this.

oh, i read the comments, and i'm not sure about the ranks, but i thought they went somewhat like this (starting from officers, because i don't know a lot about privates and blah blah blah):

(is there a junsa or anything that goes here?)

not sure about the last 3. but following the pattern of jun-shou-chuu-tai, it would make sense that warrant officer is right below second lieutenant. the kanji for shou, chuu, and tai, are small, middle, and big, but i haven't really thought about/seen the kanji for jun. i don't think the factbook here listed the enlisted officers in any particular order, though.

and aoisora: very clean cobbing on the pictures, nice job! i hate it when people on my newspaper staff do messy cobbing on pictures =P but anyway, don't they just look perfect together like that? i was gonna put riza in front of his arm with the rose, because he shouldn't be giving those flowers to anyone but her. or maybe gracia as a friendly gift. but silly roy.

Shimegami is my pen name, yes. ^^;;; I tend to use Izumi for everything but writing, and people often don't connect the two personalities as being the same person. XD

Thanks for the rank clarification. I'm 90% sure that what's on the website is incorrect and really, I'm not likely to change it unless a lot of people complain. XD It kinda messes up the flow of the sentences when you switch stuff like that around.

I have some trivia for you guys:
Have you ever wondered when Roy became a National Alchemist? Welll Roy's 29 now right? And I seem to remember that the had this conversation with Armstrong saying hus National Alchemist's watch was almost 16 or something... Well I did some maths: 29-16=13... Well according to this, Roy passed his test when he was only 13!!!!!!!!!!!! That means, before Ed, ROY was the youngest guy to pass the test!!! He's only been beaten by a YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

i'm pretty sure that's not right, because there wouldn't have been so much hype about a child taking the kokka renkinjutsushi exam, OMGWFTAHH, if roy had done it before at age 13. if roy was the youngest, i'm pretty sure they would have mentioned it (and in the latest chapter of the manga, hohenheim says to ed "oh, aren't you pretty famous in central? the shortest national alchemist ever?" and ed of course blows up and says "the YOUNGEST, not the shortest!!" dunno if that applies to the anime). and it feels like roy was still pretty new to this national alchemist business when they went to ishbal for war.

Well I suppose it was 16 years ago so..... Well the info's more based on the manga... so perhaps he was older when he got the watch in the Anime.... ;
