I dunno about the Roy and Marcoh comparison, but I've always thought that Roy and Izumi look rather similar. It's the eyes. They look a lot alike.

But it did kick off a nice Han/Leia thing just like this kicks off a nice Royai thing, so I think I'm at least partially justified in my comparison.

Anyways, never really thought of it that way, but now that you mentioned it, it really does feel similar to that fateful meeting in Empire Strikes Back. Roy does have a good deal of Han's qualities, while Riza is a good fit for Leia (though maybe toss in a bit of Olivier just for the more scathing retorts
).

I liked the first series in general, like i said before it's a nostalgic thing for me now. It's what made me love the whole thing in the first place. I'm not going to judge a whole series on the amount of Royai lol

Seriously..I never noticed Royai in the first anime series...I came to love the couple after reading the manga, they look good together and Riza was so badass xP Brotherhood made their tandem more noticeable

I'm a Star Wars lover. XD I watched it practically every weekend when I was a kid (yeah, I was a weird kid), along with The Goonies, Labyrinth and some other 70's/80's movies... XD I had a happy, nerdy childhood XD
I was always afraid of the scene at the end of ep V, when Han gets frozen in carbonite. It was like "omg, is he dead??". lol
And I love Arakawa for making references to other stuff in her mangas, like that Newspaper from 007... Just love these authors who enjoy pop culture (like Tarantino)

Which makes me want to go and write them into the Star Wars universe, but I'm not nearly as knowledgeable in that as I'd like to be before taking on the endeavor. So, for I now they shall just play in that universe in my head.

I was glancing through the site and I think that there are three variant covers (Ed & Al, Ling & RanFan, and Roy & Riza). My other guess would be that the main cover might be reversible to reveal the secondary cover. Also, either there's a specific card that you can redeem to get a theme for the psp, but I'm not too sure if it's one card per game case or if you get all three from the start.
If anyone can take a look at the site and check, that'd be awesome and much appreciated.
Either way, will probably pick it up from my local import shop once it comes out.

Technically Riza didn't open the gate, so would she have to pay? I'm guessing we won't learn of any backlash until chapter 101. Were any of those soldiers from Dr. McCreepyFace left? Roy could have grabbed one of those for a 'sacrifice'. Oh, it's no use speculating until we see the raw. Go Riza, following him though!
