XDDDD I think she looks terribly cute with the short haircut! She looks so much younger, less-stern--I think it's something about her eyes. :3
yeah, everything about her just seems so much softer when she's younger. but the long hair is definitely sexier

@anyone who expressed interest: I'm warning you, I've not written anything over 10K words (unless you count NaNoWriMo, which I decidedly didn't finish O_O;;) for a while, because a nasty case of writer's block slammed into me last year. I started a couple of blurbs this year but haven't finished them. ^^; I'll have to solicit Celira's help.

just read that translation of fma drama cd volume 2.... hehehe, yeah, roy and riza DO look like a cute couple of a handsome man and a beautiful woman than military personel... i could just imagine her wearing a beautiful gown... tube top, bare back, her hair in a fashionable bun with a few loose curls, skirt tight to the thigh and opens to a flowing shiffon skirt....
and roy would be in a black tuxedo with hair pulled back... OR a white military uniform (an alternative for formal occasions) and pulled back hair (yes, i just love his hair pulled back!) XD

@Ninie: You don't have to write in English, write in any other language and eventually find a translator, or just start a community in whatever language it is you write it! French, right?
@Izumimon: Yeah, I know, it's the first canon pairing I've followed in any fandom without liking an alternate pairing as well (well, first in two years anyway). No one else for Roy or Riza, for me- although in every other fandoms I'll be pairing everyone in my favorite couples off with everyone else. XD

she is the dominant type while roy is submissive

If he isn't a romanticist already, I have a feeling he'd become one just to get closer to Riza. lol. ^^ that is a cute translation though, I like that.

Oh, and I'd imagine Roy to be more dominat... but I guess their positions are quite even... Hm... I don't know. Both are such strong characters.

But Royai hasn't been overdone- underdone, if you ask me!- and no other alternate pairing has truly caught my eye. And the dynamic between the two is just so..*wibble*!

btw, manga chapter 42 comes out in december 11, right? Oh, what episode is FMA US in already? I just wanted to know if Riza and Roy's voices follow japanese standard, or are similar to their japanese voices? or do they plainly suck?

Artemis: Exactly! RoyxRiza isn't overdone and gives room for imagination!
"Supercanon" relationships with het-pairings must be a reason why I don't really fancy most of those(of course there are exceptions)

well so far..the dubbing for fma isn't really that so bad..at least not too off key for now..i mean i don't think the US folks would wanna hear a girl eddy i think..unless it was pokemon voicing i guess >W<
Well, I haven't seen Riza yet but Roy's voice, while it isn't bad, it isn't great either.
I'm hoping that Riza's voice isn't too much of a disappointment... and I'm a little scared what they'll do with Armstrong's voice ^^;

i just hope riza voice don't turn out like some of the anime dubbing on AXN channel @M@ well some of them really exaggerated like kenshin's misao's voice sound like from 3rd rock from the sun actreess >M<...there was one cool lady voice in RK but that was much later in the black knights episode....misanagi ninja lady..if the voice like that for riza.....>W< nice enough
hmmm, I don;t know any of those characters, so I can't use them for comparison. All I hope is that they don't give her a really high pitched voice. I'd have to kill something then.

Yeah, I think I would be thoroughly irritated if she had a high-pitched or bubbly voice. Doesn't suit her. u.u;
Riza's seiyuu's voice is just . . . perfect. ;___; Hopefully the English one isn't maimed.

It's the same voice actress as Rose's, but she will try to sound more mature and... Riza-like. I think it should be pretty good!
