@JS You know, I always think about RoyAi when I hear "Who Knew", it's definitely a great post series/pre-movie song. You fic was beautiful! I love Havoc, and you did a great job with his character, as well as Riza's of course. I like Maes' saying in there. keep up the great work! ((I don't know why, but ff.net isn't letting me review))

CoS was great to watch on the big screen. I wore Ed's cloak to the theater XP, I think my friend was ready to disown me when she saw it. She's not a big fan of cosplaying, but I'm looking towards converting her. Another one of my friends has already promised to go to anime expo with me in Long Beach next year. Now, to start making a military uniform, and get him into one too.

I've got a new-ish fic. It's not exactly RoyAi, but it will have both of them in there in later chapters. It's about Riza's father. It starts when he is about 5/6 and will go through to his death, with time jumps where nothing very interesting happens.

Becoming Hawkeye: This is a story about Riza's father and his struggle to grow up in a place where he stuck out like a sore thumb. How exactly does an Ishbalan stray from the path of Ishbala and become an alchemist. 2chapters posted.

@Paca: Wow, nice pics. I had only seen one or two of those so far. ^^

@MeLRizA: Nice cosplay pics, although my first thought when I saw the pic of the Riza cosplayer was "No, that's too sloppy to be Riza". *shot* But all the pics were cute.

Oh! Happy students' day!!! Here spring has started and we celebreate at the same time the students' day.... We make pic-nics, have no-classes, go out with friends...we have lot of fun!! - I made a gift to myself: I didn't touch a book in the whole day (and I am having my exam in a few days but it's ok...it's just one day ....) A good friend of mine shall be cosplaying Roy, so we will try to get some decent RoiAi "fansevice" shots. (I've known the guy who cosplays Roy since, like, 2002-2003, so we can do outrageous crap and not feel weird about it.)

paca- Happy Spring! Well, it's autumn here, but it's spring where you are, and that's what counts. I wish we had warmer weather, though. 65-75 degrees Fahrenheit (sp?) is just perfect for me.

@Paca Happy Spring! Autumn is rolling in for me. We actually had a pretty nice storm Friday night and Saturday. The rain was lovely. I almost forgot what a proper storm was like, since we've only had light showers all year.

I found a 2008 FMA anime calendar at the mall. I don't go to the mall very often, and I just happened to wander into a new store looking for a birthday gift for a friend, but I wound up walking out with a gift for myself.

I've got a new chapter. It's for the theme gunshot. It's only got a very slight mention of RoyAi. Takes right place before she enters the academy. Riza has an unexpected visitor while practicing her aim.

@Causmicfire - Love Becoming Hawkeye!! Great story!! ^^ And, that short theme fic with Riza entering the academy... nice job!!
BTW, you wore Ed's cloak to the theater?? Glad you had a good time!!

As for me I should be doing math now since I have a test coming up tomorrow but I'm having a total blockage against it in my head now.. so I hope it goes well tomorrow.. or at least not awful. I know I said I might do a 100 themes challenge (or rather, said I would do). I still want to but I haven't started on it yet, and I haven't done any more fanart lately. The big problem is that whenever I really like a character, I will not be able to draw them and be content - maybe before my obsession is gone. Haha. The irony of life. And now I want to draw catgirls when I should be studying for my test.

Edit: I just re-read parts of the Ishbal chapters (even more stuff I should not be doing..) the parts about Roy and Riza in there have to be some of my most favorite parts in FMA. Also, there are many great expressions there~

@ Tombow-dono I'm checking in as to whether that has been a census of what the H-ween theme should be, I'm not opposed to a 13 Days of Spooky Royai, or something along that lines. We did do a 12 Days of Royai for last X-mas. We could do something like that again. And if no one minds, we could make it a week long event, and celebrate Royai in various regional H-ween themes. The Latin countries celebrate the Day of the Dead, I'm not sure about European, Asian, and African countries, but we could do something that reflects cultural and regional beliefs in celebrating those that have passed or scare the Bejeezus out of us.

K all, I'm out. Tomorrow the carpets are getting shampooed, though I have all of my furniture moved in...bleh. So I need to organize my room! Yay!

hey everyone remember me? my computer had some major meltdown issues and this is the first i've been able to get online . I've miss all you guys! what's been going on in the forum?? i finally updated my fic meet the parents 8 too! ahh i've missed out on so much like the twilight contest which i couldn't finish due to comp issues. who won??? im still going to finish my story anyway.

and now school has started up for me about 3 weeks now. my classes are intense so that gives me EVEN less time arghh its very upsetting. and college applications have started im so busy it stinks quite alot! but now im gonna try and keep up as much as i can. see you all soon

@Anne: AAAAH! *fangirl scream* (and I don't do THAT a lot!)- that doujin is the best thing ever. EVER. It's drawn so well and the panels are awesome and it seems true to the characters.. page 6 really made me want to know what happened next. And the expressions! So well done! What a shame I don't know who the artist is.

Now the question; to save or not to save.. saving it I would feel kind of like a thief but not to save would almost be a crime itself..

Ahhhh... the old RoiAi LJ comm. There was some great stuff on there. I've gotten a lot of my crack!photoshops from there. I really need to make another LJ account just so that I can spam them with cosplay photos. Since you guys are probably sick of seeing them by now. XD

What impresses me mostt is how much the style of that doujin matches Arakawa's style.

Just dropping a small piece of news that was brought to my attention before I leave for work. The Co-founder of Bones and animation director of FMA, Hiroshi Osaka, passed away at age 44.

The world of anime((let alone his firends and family)) has lost a great person.

Sorry I haven't been around, a lot of stuff being going on and I got very sick. But I'm back alive and kicking.
Cancer is a nasty horrible thing to happen to anyone. I have seen what it does first hand.
I hope you are all well and keep posting the pics, they have been putting a smile on my face. They have helped me a lot over the last couple of days.
