It goes really high, but I don't really want to go an octave lower because I feel it's too low... =/ Yea, I guess piano can act as a foundation for many other instruments. Among the people I know who can play a few music instruments, there are only two of us who don't have piano background: me and another friend who stopped her lessons before she took her Grade 1 exam.
Twilight was good! Was a bit disappointed when [spoiler]Riza woke up from her dream[/spoiler], but all's well that ends well. Thinking about it, there isn't really any other way to have a happy Royai ending...
By the way, what are the rules for Stormie's contest? Does it have to be Royai, and does it have to be Alternate Universe? Also when is the closing date?
Hmm I don't know much about Gakuen Alice, but I'll probably read a summary of it somewhere, and read your fic! Just can't get enough of Royai! Hehe.

Besides, somehow I'm not having much progress on two current projects: a non-fiction essay collection, and an original short story that's for a local contest. Yea...I'm not dead either. It's just that school and work are kicking my butt again, this next 2 weeks, the hotel I work in is housing some girl volleyball teams and I don't like them (they don't tip well, especially the parents and they are needy), but moving on...
The summer festival sounds like a cool idea, school ends mid July, so I might be able to contribute. But that is also when I will be moving into a new apartment, so we'll see how it goes.

Then, one day, she meets Roy Mustang, a slightly older man, but with a gorgeous, appealing body. They’re instantly attracted to one another and an affair begins. It’s not hidden for long, however. Frank Archer soon finds out about his wife’s affair, and he will not have it. Roy and Riza soon find themselves in danger as Frank tries to put a stop to their relationship.

*cough* I love my Japanese classes even more. We're starting katakana tomorrow, and I even managed to write the lyrics of Rewrite in hiragana. It's good practice, really. Anyhow, I'm currently working on my social science homework (darn you, college XD), and when I still have some time left, I might type up another chapter of Substitute Teacher, my crossover fic. I managed to sneak in a few bits of Royai in the third chapter, and I hope to sneak in more. XDDDDD But of course, like I said, it helps if you also understand Gakuen Alice.
But my other FMA project finally has a name! =D I plan to title it Three Alchemists, Two Worlds, One Gate. It's basically post-movie, [spoiler]and the Elrics try to destroy the Gate on their side, while Roy does the same back in Amestris. Of course, to do that, they will have to find ways to open the Gate...like sacrifices.[/spoiler] Riza also tries to constantly remind Roy of his goal of becoming Fuhrer, as he seems just a little bit discouraged...but she also reminds him of much more than that - her true feelings for him and vice versa.
Will try to work on this alongside ST, as ST might take a while to finish...and I want to try to write as much as possible while my college schedule is still pretty loose. ^^

So, I'm up in Portland, Maine this past weekend doing an Emceeing gig for PortConMaine (yeah. I get around...) and my co-Emcee friend informs me that she has a "present" for me. I'm scared, since she was the same insane Fullmetal Alchemiholic who bought me Mini-Roy (who now lives in my car.) So, she pulls out this fuggin' Roy Mustang pillowcase-- I have no idea where in the HELL she got it from, and I told her that she has problems and desperately needs to seek therapy.
So I now own this freakin' pillowcase, and have NO idea what to do with it (since it REALLY does not match my bedroom decor... XD ) so I figured I'd hold out until I go to a con where Travis Willingham is a guest, and I'd get it signed by him and put it in the Anime Boston Charity Auction. It should bring in a few bucks for the MS Society.
So yeah. My friends are INSANE.
Oh, A.S. I totally forgot to mention, I read "Sick as a Dog", and began reading "Becoming a Fuhrer" and I've enjoyed both immensely. Didn't get to finish the long one yet because I was sans-internets all weekend...

We don't do much so far...but we're going to have an orientation on the 11th, and us applicants will get paired up with buddies (upperclassmen who will show us the ropes and bond and stuff) and I think we'll even be interviewed. *le gasp* So competition is pretty tough in the AME (Anime/Manga Enthusiasts, for those who may have forgotten or have never heard of it.).
But we're planning activities like buddy cosplaying (you and your buddy cosplay with a certain theme - I hope I get someone who at least knows FMA, but cosplaying in general is fun anyway XD). Of course, it's still early in the year, but we'll plan something big for our fair.
Blood+ is sort of like FMA, in a sense. Creatures are running all over the place wreaking havoc (Chiropterans::Homunculi) and only one person can stop them - Saya. Her blood destroys Chiropterans, and she works with a covert organization called the Red Shield (in the same way that Ed and Al work with the military), her adoptive brothers Kai and Riku, and her chevalier (sort of like a bodyguard) Haji.
But unlike FMA, there isn't much comedy, and much of it is drama and action. Though it isn't as bloody as you might think it is. So if you dig action-drama, supernatural and hints of romance, and if you can take a little blood (hey, anyone who can sit through FMA can sit through Blood+), watch it. And yes, if you like Royai, you might like the relationship between Haji and Saya, or between David and Julia, two supporting characters working with the Red Shield.
Going back on-topic, I love how there are so many Royai supporters in our anime club already. Without me having to do anything to convince them.
I might try to do something else besides write fics...maybe I might compile my own list of Royai songs. Something like a fan soundtrack.

I want to do a skit with Royai in it....Most unfortunately I lost my Roy, due to him being a...well never mind. I got two little miracles out of something stupid, and they're currently giggling and watching Ed berate Roy and call him a morally bankrupt Colonel.
I'm almost through with the first chapter of the new fic, so stay tuned for that my avid readers.

I just did like one of the coolest things ever. I found an audio clip of "I love dogs" and made it my new ringtone. I'm so excited, I don't think I will change it for a while now!

@ Everybody Okay, we've had rehearsals every night and I'm stage fighting out! Though we have two more additional rehearals for it! Bleh!i do get to handle the daggers and rapiers and get after ppl for not being safe w/ them. I being a stage manager!

--O/T Harry Potter!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Myself and my friends are going to see it at 11:59pm on 7-10-07! Originally Warner Bros was going to release the film on 7-13-07, but they bumped it up. Which is slighty disappointing cuz i could have seen HP and OotP ON my birthday! But hey, that frees me up to try a Fiery Blue Mustang!
I think that sums up pretty much everything. I'm gonna work on my obi, i'm getting so close! sooooo close.
