Please post the discussions on episode 15: "The Ishbal Massacre" here.
A great action packed episode, with the introduction of a new important character.
And for those that forgot, remember that Fullmetal Alchemist now airs on a new time on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim block. Its now at the half hour instead of top of the hour. IE, it would come on at 10:30 PM if you live in the central time zone. 11:30 PM if you live in the eastern time zone.

First of all, the new timing kind of threw me off. I don't know if it went to effect last week... Then again, I was kind of celebrating "Singles' Awareness Day" a wee bit too early.
As much as there was a lot of action in this episode, it was also an emotional downturn and a half. Seeing the incident which occured between
Winry's parents, Roy and Marco
left me in a "... Didn't see THAT one coming" kind of mood. I think the whole rest of the episode was just depressing after that point (if you managed to put everything together, that is).
And Roy's "Wet gloves in the rain" incident was good for a chuckle.
At least now I don't have to wait until Thursday, unlike the last two weeks.

Well
Blackrose, if you are not yet used to how dark and depressing Fullmetal Alchemist can get...you better stop watching now.
Because... just as a warning, I will say the old cliche, "things only get better before they get worse."

It was a really good episode except I wish the last line was different.
I know it is important to the story but it kind of ruined the moment.
Oh well other than that minor thing I thought the episode was really well done.
Al's VA did a really good job with this one, I was quite pleased with him.

Yeah, Aaron Dismuke did a great job with this episode.
Also the first appearance of Kimbley, the Crimson Alchemist in this episode.
His English voice sounded pretty good too.

This was an awesome episode. Probably the best one yet.
I was getting so nervous at the beginning when Armstrong was fighting Scar.
Part of me was like "There is no way Armstrong will die" but the other part was thinking "This is Fullmetal Alchemist and anything can happen at anytime."
I thought that it was really stupid how Ed was just going to let Scar kill him, good thing Al rung Ed's bell a little at the end there.
Also, you may have noticed that my boy Alphonse got a little scratch in this episode, but don't worry that's nothing a little welding can't fix.
I also didn't like the final line by Al. Just before he said that I thought to myself, "It's there mom."
I kind of like the idea of wondering about it for a week before I find out but I guess that is why she was in Fullmetal vs. Flame.
Finally, was that a young Roy Mustang that shot the Rockbells?

If you do not know how to do one of the spoiler dealies where we have to highlight the text to read it please do not use spoilers.
I like to let the story tell itself to me while it is going on.
But, if you do know how to do the Spoiler thingy then feel free to explain away.

I thought this was a great episode. I was kinda pissed off that Riza interupted the fight between Roy and Scar of course when she pointed out his glove wouldn't have worked in the rain and he would have been dead so my anger died down a little. Al's Va did pretty good in this ep and it's nice to that even though Al is alive and still shows emotions he still a suit of armor that can easily be destroyed.
I don't think the last line was that confusing as I know what Al meant. Can't wait till the next one though.

I thought that it was great when Roy got so cocky that he didn't realize that it was raining and Riza had to put him in his place.
We also found out how Ed transmutes without a circle in this episode.

The reason for that is because these adult swim shows only have ONE commercial break rather than a bazillion like most other half hour shows.

Excellent episode. Humor, tons of action, drama.
C'mon, it doesnt get much better then that!
When we found out who killed the 2 doctors and who the 2 doctors were I was like "Whoa! I never even thought of that!".
Very, very good episode. Also, excellent voice acting, Al showed that long overdue 'emotion' he supposedly didnt have...

I miss Hawkeye's "You're useless in the rain" quote, but that's just a matter of symantics (sp?).
She said something similar in "You can't make fire in the rain," but it took out the humorous portion of that lil exchange.
Though I liked the additional "Stubborn man!" right before the sweep lol

something that i found a little lame in ep 15 was after scar blew Al up and Ed attacked Scar, it looked like he was throwing blind kicks and punches. not one of them hit Scar at all, and i sort of found that a bit anticlimatic

I thought that that added to that part of the episode. Ed was so angry at Scar that he could not think of anything else to do. He was just punching and kicking out of pure rage, trying to hit Scar as hard as he could for what he did to Al.

in the third opening when UNDO sings that line, al rips a dragon lizard thing in half while ed slices one in two.

I really like what they did with this episode in dub form.
I was a little worry about the Ed/Al/Scar scene, but Al's U.S VA delivered and made the scene as good, if not better than the sub version of the same.
It's sometimes hard for me to feel any emotion coming from sub Al's VA.
It usually seems so forced but I enjoyed dub Al's deliever on that scene alot.
This is episode I feel is the "make or break" one of FMA.
It really gets you excited about what's to come and so far I haven't seen anyone complain about the series.

@
Viewtiful - I thought that was the best scene so far in the series.
The only other scene that might be as good is when they find out about Nina and Alexander. The Ed/Al/Scar scene was a lot more suspensful though, which I like.
